ok, so im having a bit of a problem. when taking out the gray background behind this spidey picture i have and putting it on this background..i get this outline around spidey.

my question is..how do i get rid of it?..i know there has to be a simpler way to take out backgrounds than the background eraser tool, especially with a background that has one solid color. would i have to trace around spidey with the selection tool or something?...

here is what im talking about.

thanks for any help i can get in advance

if you want it precise get gimp and use the edit path tool.

Just use the magic wand too. It's that funky looking thing in the tool box.

The magic wand tool selects all of the pixels that are in the same, or similar color groups as the one you click.

PS: DVHYZS, why'd you change your user name?

It annoyed me.

At this point i'd suggest simply zooming in and erasing the border with a small eraser brush.
