For anyone who can play an instrument, what are some songs you can play?

So far, I've learned to play the following songs on bass...

Train in Vain - The Clash
London Calling - The Clash
Get Off of My Cloud - The Rolling Stones
Love Is Strong - The Rolling Stones
All the Sex Bob-Omb songs
Scott's part on Bass Battle (not too difficult)
Come Together - The Beatles
Under Your Skin - Luscious Jackson
Naked Eye - Luscious Jackson
Come As You Are - Nirvana
Some Gorillaz songs (Gorillaz' basslines aren't too difficult)
Fell In Love With a Girl - The White Stripes (though there's no bass guitar in it)

Nice job! "London Calling" is a great one to play on bass. You should try "Go Your Own Way" and "The Chain" by Fleetwood mac (on bass)... great riffs

I've been playing guitar for about 15 years now... I can generally learn bits of any song within 10 minutes or so just from hearing it. I'm a much better lead player than anything (so I've been told)... but I prefer playing fingerstyle on a classical nylon guitar, which is how I originally learned.

On keys, I know a few melodies, but I'm still a beginner so there's not much to brag about. I'll try to remember them all, but it shouldn't be very long of a list.

Mad World by Gary Jules
Hello Seattle by Owl City
I Can Only Imagine by MercyMe
The Grid from TRON: Legacy by Daft Punk
Don't Jump by Tokio Hotel
Don't Take Your Love Away by VAST
In Dreams from The Lord of the Rings by Howard Shore
The Tide Began to Rise by Demon Hunter
Love the Way You Lie by Eminem

Well, that feels kind of pitiful having them all written down and equaling less than ten. Still, I'm constantly learning new things on my keyboard and I think I'll be capable of knowing a lot more songs than that in the near future.

Thinking about it, i only ever played guitar for two relatively short periods of my life, from about 91-97, and then I never touched it after our band split up, not until we got back together in 2005, and our last gig was new year's eve 2007/2008, so I stopped playing again.
It was only in that first period that I would learn folk's songs, and can only recall a few I guess, like, if you handed me a guitar right now and asked me to busk away on other folk's song i would only be able to play a few easy ones
Nirvana - SLTS, Lithium, In Bloom, Heart Shaped Box, probably a few more i can't recall offhand right now without looking at album covers.
The Stooges - I wanna be your dog, 1970, Tv Eye(our band used to cover this live), Loose, Raw Power.
Hendrix - Purple Haze
Syd Barrett - Baby Lemonade
Sex Pistols - Pretty Vacant
There are lots of v easy classic songs that are just E, G, D, F, A, C etc, early stones songs like Tear go by, and the one you cited, Get off my cloud is part of that group, so many classic songs are v easy to play, riffs as well, new players should not be daunted by the prospect of playing the guitar, or be intimidated by those who are more practised them them. I probably should have spent more time trying to learn other's songs , but for those years 91-97, i mainly sat plugged into my 4 track studio writing and recording my own.

The Monks.

I play a little harmonica. I can do all the harp solos in every Beatles song, do a few Neil Young songs, and have done Mad World. Not too many, but I want to find time to learn more.
