Why?

1. Paramount owns CBS
2. Its pretty much exactly one month from T-giving to the release of Sonic 3
3. The Lions running back duo are named "Sonic & Knuckles"

The characterization of Black Doom in the SnapCube fandub of Shadow the Hedgehog has supplanted the original in my mind so much so that I’m never ever again able to take him seriously.

Watch it, it’s hilarious. They basically just took all of the cut scenes together in one hour + video and just riffed and improvised on what’s happening on the screen. Their version of Black Doom is basically the devil if he sounded like a used car salesman from the Bronx.
