This looks better than the first Venom, so I guess I'll see it at some point. I don't think Vulture is putting together the S6. If anything, it'll be a new variant Green Goblin with Morbius, Scorpion, Kraven, and whoever else Sony gives a spin-off to.

Had no interest in Black Widow, Eternals, and Shang Chi. But I made it to the theater for Venom and I’ll do the same for Morbius!

After seeing Venom 2, I'd be shocked if this is good.

Thoughts on the Sony-verse after No Way Home:

I don't think it's possible to make much sense of the trailer based on what we see. It would suggest that Morbius is in the same universe as Venom, which would suggest he isn't going to see Vulture except maybe for ten seconds before zapping back to our universe. Definitely not a merging of universes like you would think they'd want.

Sony kept saying things will make more sense after NWH. I am more confused than ever, lol

Those final scenes made it very clear.

Spidey's no longer in the MCU.

I wonder if this will still arrive in January.

Since Sony doesn't have a streaming platform, they'll probably just stick to their guns, even if Omicron causes this and anything else between now and then to take a hit.

Not sure if you're joking, but I'll just sum it up...
    1. Tom Holland's Spider-man is still in the main universe of the MCU, though everyone has now forgotten who Peter Parker is. The technicalities about how this affects physical records of Peter's existence remain unclear.

    2. The Raimi Spider-man universe, the Webb Spider-man universe, and the Venom universe are now all part of the MCU continuity as separate universes within a shared multiverse.

    3. We still don't know what the **** is going on with Morbius, or Vulture. Is it yet another universe in the multiverse that just happens to have a Vulture who looks like the MCU's Vulture? Is it part of the Venom universe? Will Morbius temporarily pop over the the MCU universe somehow? Is it just going to include a bunch if cameos and references without explaining anything? Is it not gonna be connected to the multiverse at all and the casting is just a red herring? Who knows.

Was super skeptical of this when it first was announced (and still think it's a weird choice for a solo film) but the more I've seen of it, I'm actually really looking forward to giving it a chance. The trailers were surprisingly good and I can never get enough of Jared Leto.

They must be really confident in this film's theater prospects.

The greatest April Fools joke of all is this movie existing so it's fitting.

If anything, I'm relieved I don't have to go to a theater until at least March now, but I'll admit Morbius was and still is a borderline rental for me.

Its been a rental for me since it was announced which is what makes this doubly frustrating. Just take my money, let me watch it, and move on. Now its going to be late May before I can watch this cursed film.

I had a feeling Morbius was going to move, omicron or not. You don't cannibalize ticket sales on a hot item like NWH by giving the premium and IMAX screens up to a subpar Sonyverse title a month later.

I’m guessing it’s because NWH is doing so well and with zero competition in January, they want to keep it going.

Will Spider-Man NWH still be doing enough business by the end of January to warrant moving Morbius to a later date? I think they might be using NWH as an excuse when really it’s because of omicron.
