Well, I have read many comics featuring them and they were much easier to get then the BAFS. And according to you, I need another Hydra soldier anyway. ;-)

It's regular continuity, 616 Cap and Zola, just takes place in Dimension Z, which is a concept that has been around since the sixties. Basically, Zola has taken over there, and Cap gets trapped there. It's definitely typical Remender, which of course means it's awesome. Never been a big Romita Jr. fan but his art actually works pretty well for this book. Check it out. It's definitely a huge departure for Cap, and it's a lot of fun.

I gotta be honest, I'm not a huge fan of solo Captain America stories. I just prefer him in the team setting with Thor and Iron Man. Jrjr is awesome though and it does sound like a cool concept. Maybe I'll check out the trade when I see it.

I thought about this post yesterday. My Silver Surfer kept falling over on top of the Skrulls and La Tarantula, and I went to reposition LT for like, the seventh time, and the bandana things snapped of the back of his head. I was so pissed! He's only a couple years old, he should be tougher than that. I guess he couldn't take the weight of the Surfer crashing down on him repeatedly. Bummer. I can probably glue it though.

Well, you know he's BARELY in scale. Definitely a wee bit short. If you do get him, put him on a flight stand or crouching down, otherwise he almost looks like a midget. :cwink:

I can't believe how expensive he is. I passed on him at least a dozen times. Like Jay said, he looks way too small. The Venom from that wave looks like he could swallow him whole.

Picked up a loose ML Madame Masque from eBay for 13 bucks shipped. I was happy with that. I didn't know I even wanted her. I forgot all about her, but I'm always up for adding new villians to my display, especially Avengers Villians. Between her and Thunderball its been a good week for figures for me.

Although, I'm not sure if I should credit Rob3880 for inspiring me, or blame him as a bad influence, but either way, I got some cool figures! :awesome:

Glad to see you made some awesome editions to your collection. Both of those are awesome. My cousin went to Rhode Island, and while he was there he found this awesome toy store called The Toy Vault. I've actually bought a few things from them on Ebay. So being the awesome cousin he is, he called me and asked if he wanted to pick up something for my birthday, and then whatever else I would pay him back. He grabbed me a series 3 Wolverine for my bday, and then he picked me up a Yellowjacket, Adam Warlock, Face-Off unmasked Cap with Baron Von Strucker, Legendary Riders Series Logan, and Sasquatch (orange version) He said it was only $90 something for all the ones I bought, don't know how, but that works for me. I'll put up pictures when I get my hands on them in a few days.

Nice. That's some good stuff, right there. That sounds cheap for that haul, but good for you. I was surprized to see the new wave at my LCS on Wednesday. Xforce wolvie, ult cap, red shehulk, hyperion, and archangel. I think cap looked the best of the line. They had 'em marked at $21.99, which is only a a buck or 2 more than TRU, so I was cool with that. None of them really grabbed me, though, and I have no place for ANY of them, so I passed. But it was cool to see 'em.

I love the Archangel, Red She-Hulk, & Protector. The others are good too, but those were the three must haves for me. You passed on Archangel ? I loved that one so much I got two. First Marvel Legends I ever opened.

All the Walmarts, Targets, and T'r'U's in my area are still stocking series 2 revision cases. It's getting kinda ridiculous. My cousin passed through NYC yesterday and said that the TRU in Manhattan has tons of Hit Money Wave. I live less than two hours away and we still get series two. I've never even seen a Thunderball or Piledriver in a store.

What's in the revision case? Paint touch ups?

All my spots, walmart tru and target, are just littered with series 1. Nothing but iron man and hopes as far as the eye can see. Now THAT'S ridiculous. And I only saw Piledriver once, so I'm glad I snagged him when I did. Target always had the best price though. I never paid more than $16.99.

Basically it's a case that combines series one and series two. It has Masked Daken, Big Time Spidey, Ghost Rider, Bucky Cap, Fantomas, and Hope. If they want to re-release figures, they should include the Wrecking Crew guys, the Madames, and Thor. I think those are the one's everyone would rather see since we've been inundated with those other ones. And yeah, I wish Target would get newer stuff in sometimes cuz their Legends are only $14.99 in my area. TRU and Walmart are $19.99
