This is one of the funner threads I've seen on here.

Has anyone tried a cosmic character shelf of figures? Original Gaurdians of the Galaxy, Infinity Watch, Starjammers, Quasar Characters, the Defenders from the comics, and other lesser known properties would be kind of interesting to see a shelf of figures of.

Just curious if anyone's ever done this?

Cosmic shelf? It's been done; but a lot of space/cosmic characters simply haven't been made in into Marvel Legends. Major Victory is the only Original Guardian; (MCU Yondu doesn't count) I'm not sure who was in Infinity Watch, but I doubt any of them have been made into figures; no Starjammers; no Quasar. Most of the Defenders have been made.

I think Spideyboy_1111 has a cool cosmic shelf.

    Thanks, Hello!

Well, the Mafex figures actually come with a stand. They are a bit pricey, but I can justify it since they come with it.

I do purchase the Obitsu body stands separately. Amazon usually has them for 8 bucks.

I checked out the video of spideyboy_1111's shelf. Pretty impressive. The lighting was a nice touch. Different types of shelving and placements certainly make the marvel universe come to life.

I looked online and it appears there's a non-customized quasar figure out. [IMG]

Google imaged some other characters as well and surprised see 1 fan had complete starjammers thing going on (not sure how much of that was customizeable though).

That Quasar is the 4 inch version, which I stayed away from. I would love a Legends version. Cosmic Marvel could definitely have better representation, that's for sure. The only area where the 4 inch figures beat the 6. Character selections. Way more fan wanted characters ended up as 4 and should have been made into 6. But who knows? Maybe the popularity of the Guardians of the Galaxy will translate to more cosmic figures. Let's hope so! That Thanos Imperative SDCC exclusive a few years ago was pretty nice, though.

I've actually seen guys use the bottom/flat part of a wire hanger, wrap one side around a jar or glass to create a round base and bend the other end up, and stick it in the figure's joints.

I haven't tried it myself, yet. I don't have any wire hangers. Scarred from "Mommy Dearest".

BUT, metal, nearly invisible against a dark background, and if you have some in your closet, FREE!

Like I said, haven't tried it yet, but I'll post when I do!

Thanks, Cap. I guess I'll have to switch.

I guess that means Photobucket just killed my thread too. Bastards. I mean, I could see a few bucks a month like Pandora or Netflix, but $400? **** You!!
