…was reading ASM annual #23, part 4 of the Atlantis Attacks cross over, which I reckon is kinda stupid. Anyway annual #23 also features a cool double feature entitled- Spidey’s Top 30 Villain Countdown + Spidey Vs JJJ, both by kick ass artist Fred Hembeck.

The kooky art style and villain rundowns amused me so I thought I would get it up here for those who have not seen it. I also dig how Hobby was rightfully recognised as being on a par w/ GG and came joint first place. After that the Spidey Vs JJJ feature has a nice run down of the Spider Slayers up till that point (1989).

Shows you how new Venom was at the time, nowadays he and Ock usually duke it out over the #2 spot

and I love the fact that the Sin Eater, Shocker, Juggernaut and the Red Skull lost to THE FREAKING HUMAN FLY!!!!!!!!

I like the Hobgoblin, I really really do, but he should not have tied with GG, and Kraven was too high up on the list.
