Homecoming Spider-Man 2017 Wager Thread?

This thread is for betting on how certain aspects of Spider-Man 2017 will turn out. The main poll you see at the top is simply an example.

Rules:

I don't see how you can tell the direction so far when we literally have nothing but two castings and the fact that it'll be in HS. It can go any which way, including not drawing inspiration from either.

I'm well aware it can go either way, and that's why I said "so far". Still though, from what we've gathered over the last few months off Feige interviews, rumors, casting decisions, etc. it seems like they're aiming for a younger, more HS orientated, USM type world for this version of Spidey... if that makes sense.

Well that's what the brain jumps to when you hear all that stuff because Ultimate is the definitive HS spidey storyline. But it's not like it's an exclusive concept to the cartoon. Besides, Spectacular was also in HS and had the soap opera that Feige speaks so highly about, something that I think is missing from the USM cartoon (could be wrong?) Either way, I don't see how it could be leaning towards one or the other.

i still feel the film is more likely to be based more on classic 616 elements mixed with USM comic elements, along with the twist on things mcu does. I don't think usm the toon, or any toon specifically will be used as basis as the film. As kevin and marvel studios are not the ones running that show. And to many elements of that show just would not work with how the mcu is presently. So i still don't see why folks think USM the toon will be used. As kevin has never talked about the usm toon and in almost every interview he talks about classic stuff. So i feel it be more on classic comics with the modernize/teen angle from usm comic then any thing else.
