Spider-Man 3 Synopses

Plot: Third film in the highly successful "Spider-Man" series sees several new villains and a new woman enter Peter Parker's life. With his secret now revealed to both Mary Jane and Harry, Peter must face the consequences of his actions and his new life together with Mary Jane as they finally form a relationship. Yet their newfound open display of love has yielded some unfortunate results, not the least of which is Peter's upset boss determined to make his life hell for causing his son emotional distress. Not helping is a young investigative reporter named Eddie Brock who Jameson has hired to find out why Mary Jane dumped his son for Peter - what's Parker's secrets?

At the same time an escaped prisoner hiding out on a remote beach is caught in a dreadful accident and finds himself turned into a shape-shifting sand creature. Peter's investigations into the past of this 'Sandman' brings him in contact with two very different things that will inevitably alter his life. The first a young woman named Gwen Stacy, daughter of the city's new police chief who is developing a soft spot for Peter. The other, a black substance from an accident scene which 'merges' with Peter's costume and gives him new found abilities.

Things come to a head however when Harry Osborn, determined to take revenge against Peter for his father's death and now equipped with what he needs to pull it off, teams with The Sandman in a new variation of his father's Green Goblin guise and causes mayhem. In the ensuing chaos lives are lost, including people very close to Peter, whilst the black substance covering his suit separates from him and merges with a distraught Brock to form something else entirely - a creature unlike anything he's ever faced. A 'Venom' that he may not be able to stop.

Yay, sounds like my kind of movie.

Is this official or what? sounds like the site just putted every rumor they know together to make the synopsis.

WTF? While that is actually well written (compared to most of the silly rumors we heard) where did that come from?

The Venom plot seems like it fell from space, lol, yes that was intentional, but the rest is golden.

If that is official THAT sounds great.

But it does seem to give alot away for a synposis.

Yeah is this real or not, if it is sounds like a pretty good movie to me!!!

I could live with it...however it still seems like there's too much in the film. It's like Harry's and Sandman's parts will abruptly end 3/4 into the film to give us 'what we all want', Venom. Either that or we'll get a battle royal ending to 'sell those tickets'. I just can't help but feel someone will be sold out in a big way.

Yes...it certainly does have a 'throw the dog a bone' feel to it doesn't it?

If this is the real plot, this is effing awesome!

I agree, I want to believe this one because it seems the most plausiable and it does indeed make sense.

I like the way Brock is played as a type of spy reporter, it kinda links into the whole stalkeresque style of Brock/Venom in "Amazing Spider-man Issue 300" and some later issues as well.

I like that :)

It is a lot for a synopsis. That is for sure.

Yea, Mary Jane! :D ;)
Seriously, though, this is the most organized and coherent speculative synopsis to date. I doubt it's authenticity, but would not object at all if it is accurate! Sounds like a b****in' script to me! :spidey: Great find Venom's Dad!

I personally think there's too much going on , but if the film is done like Batman Begins as opposed to Batman Forever then I'll be happy.

Remember, there is a good director on this film with some fantastic credentials same with the director for Batman Begins.

In Raimi I trust ;)

Yeah... That plot sounds pretty cool. Of course there's alot of detail missing, but that's the first workable concept I've seen.

Not to mention Alvin Sargent, a great screenwriter who can manage multiple storylines and characters.

"In the ensuing chaos lives are lost, including people very close to Peter"

hmm...

Although I suppose that could be giving too much away in such a synopsis.

Yeah, I would have believed it if not for that.
