Spider-Man 3 wishlist

So I got to thinking about the little things I'd like to see in this movie, as opposed to the big things like Venom, which of course we're getting anyway. And then I made a list, because I could. Perhaps you also have one? Post it!

(And be realistic: no 'I want to see Kirsten Dunst do a striptease' )

Things I want to see:

-More of a sense of New York being in serious danger: I know it was technically during Spider-Man 2, but I dunno, I never really got the sense the whole city would be destroyed. And if it was, the stakes are raised: more drama.

-More Ursula. She's one of my favourite characters, and I have a theory that she is partly a stand-in for the audience, so it'd be nice to see her again.

-MJ being more...I don't know. More than just the one who gets kidnapped and/or wet. The fact that she never really does anything, well, useful, is the only thing that really bugs about the movies. Her nearly hitting Ock in the last one was good: next time let's see the hit actually connect.

-Gwen being a sympathetic character as opposed to just the love rival

-No more burning buildings unless absolutely necessary (and I loved both previous burning building scenes)

-Lots of interesting minor characters (such as Sandman's family) and some development for the established ones (I want Robbie to have more lines.)

-I think that's it

Well, I don't want to see MJ die, like a lot of people say...

I want Venom to be realistic and not....I don't know....cheesy.

I want the movie's Gwen to stay true to the comic's Gwen.

I want Spider-man three to have a better beginning then Spider-man two, and to be as exciting through and through like SM2 was in the second half.

I want this one to live up to the first one, and seem like it is a continuation of the story.

I am hoping that the way venom fights is cool and i hope he is stronger than spider-man.

maybe peter and mj will get married so i think that would be a good idea...or engaged atleast.


I think venom will defenitley talk so i am hoping for that.

another thing i am hoping for is for marko killing uncle ben part of the story will work out.

peter would have to talk to the symbiote like he did in the cvomics and then it would start to flow off of brock onto peter. in the leaked trailer wee see the symbiote on peter in the final battle and the script ummary said the symbiote gets onto peter then peter hits the bars and the symbiote gets off him.

I'd love to see Venom live and become Spidey's main foe for Spider-man 4.

I wanna see a little more interaction between Spidey and ole' J. Jonah.

I really wanna see Spidey(and everyone else)almost in awe when Venom first appears. After all,he is the first "non-human" foe Spidey will face. You don't see something like Venom everyday.

I really want the film to focus on the emotion and the characters like the previous two movies. I think the action will be there and be simply awesome,but if that's all the movie deals with then it will become just another bang em' up action film.

I REALLY wanna see Spider-man 3 break $400 million at the box office and not only become the series top money maker,but maybe make it into the top 3-4 money makers of all time.t:

I want the movie to be at least 2:20 minutes long.

I hope that Sandman being responsible for Uncle Ben's death will actually work out (which is basically impossible).

I want the movie to avoid a striptease from Rosemary Harris.

And lastly, I want another sequel damnit!

The action sequences to top the ones from the second film (little bits we've seen have been promising).

Continue with the characterization of Peter, MJ etc. Do not let the film become an all action flick.

Film to be long enough to fit everything in.

Would love the movie to beat POTC 2 record.

Sam, Tobey etc come back for the fourth film.

People always hated that James Cameron script, but I thought it was interesting. Of course Sam Raimi has been doing things the proper way but the Cameron version would have been kinda interesting. Something a little different.

Even with their origin changes, I never understood why Cameron used the name of Carlton Strand for Electro and the name Boyd for Sandman.

Fight scene in the Printing Presses of the Daily Bugle (just because)

Peter snagging a web onto GG2's glider and flying behind for awhile.

A comic-panel reproduced version of the "Honey! I'm home!" scene from ASM 299. (Hey, they did it in SM2)

Venom and Spidey doing aerial webslinging dogfights

Peter and MJ getting married at the end

Harry dying redemptively

Venom dying spectacularly

Mention of sonics or fire as the way to destroy the symbiote

Lots of comic book esque choreography to the fight scenes and not just punch punch kick like in SM1. Grabbing light poles and smacking people with them, that sort of thing.
