'Spider-Man 4' Trailer:

Columbia Pictures and Marvel Studios...

Fade Into; Camera Rotating Around: With his back to the chair, while he sits steadily in his seat beside Kraven (whom was standing), Chameleon begins to speak with Gwen Stacy; whom is tied to a chair.

"You have an extremely beautiful face, Ms. Stacy," Chameleon begun, with the slight twist of Chameleon's head, the light from above reflected off of it and bounced onto Gwen's face. Chameleon then begun to chuckle, as Kraven smirked slightly. "Sorry about that, Ms. Stacy."

"...You have me for a reason, I suppose?" Gwen asked, hesitantly. Chameleon looked for a moment at her, frozen in subtle thought.

"...Of course," Chameleon finally answered, just as hesitantly as Gwen. "I have a plan, Ms. Stacy. I have a plan that is very special to me... Very special to me indeed... It doesn't involve killing anyone. But... if they get in my way... they will be taken care of by my... 'Friendly Neighborhood Brother', over here[Chameleon refered to Kraven]."

"Would you mind sharing your ingenious plan with me?" Gwen asked bravely, Kraven begun to laugh bitterly.

"That's quite cute," Kraven finally spoke. "Trying to act tough now, daddy's little girl?"

"Sergei..." Chameleon said calmly, turning to Kraven's alternative name. Gwen and Kraven both exchanged looks with one another. "Hey!"

Chameleon snapped his fingers right before Gwen's eyes, turning her attention over to him.

"...I want to show you something," Chameleon defined, as he then reached down into the bag beside his chair and pulled out a mask. However, it didn't represent a "Halloween Mask" of some sorts... it was almost human looking. Chameleon then puts on the mask [camera now finally pans fully on the character, Chameleon].

"...W-what is that?..." Gwen asked, almost in shock.

"It's me, Peter Parker," Chameleon claimed, almost as if he was absolutely serious. Gwen's eyes widened with terror after Chameleon had spoken, as his voice represented Peter's own almost crystal-clear. "Scary, huh?"

Chameleon then takes off the mask [revealing to the camera for the first time his silver, mirror-like face].

"You're going to play the damsel in distress for us this time, Ms. Stacy," Chameleon explained. "...But this time, the train's coming before the cowboy."

Chameleon then smiled, demonically, showing his crystal-white teeth.

Chapter 1 ~ "Relentless Adversary"

It was a semi-dark night out on the city streets, as the winter snow continued to fall peacefully from the skies, blanketing the city itself with it's cold cloak.

The lobby was nearly jam-packed with several numbers of civilians, the security guards at the front and back struggled to keep the area steady and controlled.

Looking his shoulder over to the other security guard, Benny, was Thomas.

"Hell of a time, 'ey Benny?" Thomas called over to Benny, voluming his voice over the crowd's. Benny had caught the call, as he turned to face Thomas.

"Merry Christmas, I guess," Benny called back to Thomas, voluming his voice over the crowd's as well. Thomas caught the call and nodded in agreement, as he also slightly chuckled over Benny's remark.

The progress remained the same throughout the environment indoors. Until suddenly, something came crashing through the building's wall; right beside Benny and Thomas, where they both immediately turned in it's direction, as they cautiously pulled out their weapons free from their holsters.

Once the dust and debris from the collison had disappeared, the figure was revealed to be a man inside a large, rhinoceros suit; what else to call him but Rhino? The bulky man inside the larger-than-life suit stood at around 6'5" and weighed (approximately) 715 pounds; with only twice the strength.

The Rhino took a step forward inside the building, where the large crowd of civilians inside had either pushed themselves away from the brutish man or out of the building to where the monsterous man was nowhere near.

With Benny and Thomas shaking with fear, while they pointed their weapons at the man, Rhino then turned to his side to face them. Even more fear struck over the two with the Rhino's cold and lifeless stare.

With a sudden few seconds passing by, Rhino then made his way towards the two frozen guards. And with his menacing eyes focused on the two of them, he was surely ready to strike at the two. However, even before he could clench a fist. Something collided with the back of his head, it was a piece of debris from the scattered wall.

Enraged by the hit, Rhino slowly rotated his body around to where the throw had originated. It was a little boy; whom which was the only one standing still with bravery through the remainder of the crowd. Rhino then decided to wash away his rage with the sight of the little boy, as he then calmly turned away from the little boy and begun marching further up the lobby.

Finally coming to the boy's ease was a colourful figure, as his hand wrapped in black webbing patted the boy's shoulder.

"Hey, Big Boy," a familiar voice called from behind Rhino, where Rhino then turned towards where the voice had come from. Finally turning around fully towards the figure, Rhino discovered who the one calling him was. "Polly wouldn't want a few dollars now, would he?"

It was Spider-Man, where the hero slowly marched towards the villainous figure.

Rhino muttered something that couldn't be understood by Spider-Man under his breath, whereas the mutter was spoken in Russian tongue.

"...What?" Spider-Man leapt to ask in confusion.

In even greater rage now, Rhino now screamed what he had previously said before, where he then begun to charge away from Spider-Man and towards where he was originally marching.

"And they say 'Taming a Shrew' is hard work," Spider-Man joked with himself, where he then spun a webline to the ceiling as he begun to run towards the Rhino.

Finally crashing through the wall he intended on crashing through was Rhino. However, he stopped in disappointment. As if what he hoped would be on the other side wasn't exactly what he got.

"You looking to save a tree, my friend?" Spider-Man examined the storage room filled to it's height with piles of paper pages. Suddenly, the burst of rage from before had clouded over the Rhino again, where he then swung his clenched fist towards the wall where Spider-Man was on the other-side. It was a successful collision for the Rhino, where his forearm smashed right through the wall and hit Spider-Man, which launched Spider-Man hard down to the floor with the debris from the wall following behind him.

Before Spider-Man himself could even recover from the attack, Rhino suddenly grabbed hold of Spider-Man's leg, which had caught the webslinger's attention, where the Rhino then swung him back into the storage room, where Spidey himself collided painfully with the wall and landed with a thud onto the floor; knocking down several piles of paper as well.

"Spider Sense is certainly out of the arena for this one, Spidey," Spider-Man told himself, as he slowly stumbled to get back up to his feet.

Back inside the storage room came Rhino, where he then swung his fist back towards Spider-Man, who ducked out of the way just in time, as Rhino's fist had crashed right through the wall.

With Rhino's forearm now stuck within the wall, Spider-Man then lifted his own weight off the floor and up towards Rhino's head, where he then pulled Rhino's head back with all of his force right through the wall, leading the both of them out onto the street. Now stumbling clumsily onto the road was Rhino, whom was still somehow dazed from the attack, while a vehicle was speeded towards him which had no way of stopping.

"I sure ain't paying for this wreck," Spider-Man replied, where he quickly leapt off of Rhino's huge shoulder and clung himself up-against a nearby building wall.

Finally colliding with Rhino was the vehicle, which immediately got wrecked as soon as it hit Rhino whom sunk down into the vehicle's front-bumper.

Sighing in relief now was Spider-Man, who wiped his head as if sweat lied beneath his mask. However, not long after the collision, Spider-Man found Rhino picking up the vehicle and lifting up above his head. Pulling the vehicle back slightly while ready to throw at Spider-Man was Rhino, who finally threw the vehicle at Spider-Man, whereas Spider-Man quickly leapt out of the vehicle's path, whereas he still stopped the vehicle from colliding with the wall as he spun a thick webline back towards the building, which safely caught the vehicle within it's grasp before hitting the building itself.

Now rushing towards Rhino was Spider-Man. However, where Spider-Man was about to attack the brutish man, the man himself quickly counter by swinging his elbow right into Spider-Man stomach which sent him flying towards a lightpost. With Spider-Man's collision however caused the lightpost to fall down to the road, where as the light at the top of the post then collided with Rhino's head, as the Rhino fell down to the road, unconscious.

"...I'm sure I'm hurtin' more than he is right now," Spider-Man communicated with himself yet again, as he then stood back up to his feet, while using the fallen lightpost for support.

Up the street however, Spidey could see somebody smiling up at him. It was Mary Jane, whom then flashed Spider-Man her cellphone.

Spider-Man let off a chuckle from beneath his mask, where he then leapt right off of the road and landed right up on the top of the building.

Chapter 2 ~ "Failed Attempt"

The warehouse was (in reality) rundown and abandoned. Snow fell through the cracks in the walls and amongst the ceiling, as small patches of the fallen snow covered the floorboards inside.

Across the room however finally came a walking figure. A man, with a bald head clothed in buisness attire. He made his way out of the large-free area and into the back where there was a small room on the other side stored with computers and other electronic hardware virtually all around the walls. Three other men lied inside the room: one wore a kind of lion's skin as a vest which lied over his black sweater-vest, as the other two sat at the computer monitors, where one of them then turned to face the man who had just walked into the room.

"I hate this place, brother," the man clothed in lion's skin told his "brother", whom was clothed in buisness attire opposed to his own. The man who had previously turned around to face this man's brother briefly snarled at the brother who supposedly intrupted him.

"Thanks for that, Kraven," the man faced towards the brother revealed the man in the lion's skins name, Kraven. "The Russian failed, Dmitri."

The man in the buisness attire, known as Dmitri, stood frozen for a moment at the doorway.

"Well," Dmitri finally spoke, as he then pulled out a pistol from out of his holster. The two at the computers jumped slightly once Dmitri pulled out the weapon, where the only one of the three who didn't move was Kraven. "Calm down, fellas. This is only for Alekski's wife."

With that revealed, Dmitri begun to march towards the storage room; whereas Kraven followed behind his brother's lead.

----------

Inside the largest jail cell in the precinct, the man in the Rhino-suit lied unconscious on the floor, as four of the guards tried to get the suit off of him with each carrying a set of crowbars. Captain Stacy stood outside of the jail cell, trying to hide his laughter of the situation.

"It's coming off, sir," one of the guards called back to Captain Stacy.

"Good work, boys," Captain Stacy responded, as he then made his way out of the back door and out into the parking lot.

Outside, Captain Stacy pulled a pipe out from inside his jacket where he then stuck it between his lips. Reaching for the lighter now was Captain Stacy.

"Smoking's quite a bad habit, Captain," Spider-Man's voice came from beside Captain Stacy, where Stacy then turned to notice Spidey seated alongside the wall.

"It's a cold season, hero," Captain Stacy replied. "I'm just looking to keep my warmth."

"Hey, well look at me," Spider-Man told Captain Stacy. "I have to swing around the city in this thing."

Spider-Man refered to his costume, as Stacy begun to chuckle.

"How's the big boy coming?" Spider-Man asked Captain Stacy.

"Well... the suit's coming off, at least," Captain Stacy answered. "Couldn't call in the professionals to take it off, so we're doing it ourselves."

"Did he wake up yet?"

"Oh, no! Thank, God..."

"Hey! Thank the lightpost and your Friendly Neighbourhood Superhero over here," Spider-Man once again refered to himself, as Captain Stacy smirked.

"Thanks indeed, hero," Captain Stacy finally thanked the webslinger, as the webslinger himself nodded in approval.

"Excuse me," Spider-Man said, as Captain Stacy looked over at the webslinger in confusion.

Stacy then noticed Spider-Man got a picture taken of himself, as a camera flash from on the edge of the building went off. Captain Stacy once again chuckled.

"For the fans, right?" Captain Stacy asked in amusement, as Spider-Man crawled up and took the camera back.

"Exactly," Spider-Man replied, while he took a look at the picture he had just taken of himself. "See ya, Captain."

"Likewise," Captain Stacy exchanged, whereas Spider-Man then made his way back up the building wall; finally out of sight.

Thanks, red hood:yay:

Chapter 3 ~ "Duel Individuals"

While seated amongst his bed, Peter begun to fold his costume carefully where he then placed it into the open suitcase that was seated beside him. On-top of the costume itself, Peter placed the hero's mask and then closed the suitcase, locking both hatches behind, where he then pushed it down underneath his bed.

Seated on the edge of his bed still for a moment was Peter, where suddenly, the door behind him caught his attention, somebody was trying to enter his room.

"Coming," Peter called to the person trying to gain entry into his room. Finally opening the door was Peter, to see that on the other side was Mary Jane.

"This key does not work," Mary Jane showed Peter her key to his apartment.

"I know, mine neither," Peter then showed Mary Jane his, which he pulled out of his pocket.

The both of them paused for a moment, trying to discover something to say to one another.

"Hey, Pete," Mary Jane greeted.

"Hey, Mary Jane," Peter greeted as well.

The both of them paused for another moment, where Mary Jane then rose a bag of groceries in-between both their eye-lines.

"You left me with this for some reason," Mary Jane stated, as Peter begun to chuckle slightly. Peter then grabbed hold of the grocery bag.

"Hero called," Peter replied. "But, thank you."

"No problem, Tiger," Mary Jane said, where she then patted Peter on the shoulder as she then walked away back down the stairs.

Peter stood frozen at the doorway for a moment, where he then set the grocery bag on the floor and closed the door.

----------

It was located on the floor above the top was Roderick Kingsley's office, as he sat in his chair examining the company's sales.

"Mr. Kingsley," Kingsley's secretary called Roderick over the intercom.

"What is it, Maggie?" Roderick called back into the intercom.

"There's somebody here for you," Maggie said, once again over the intercom.

"Send this person in," Roderick commanded Maggie, as he then pulled out a cigar from his desk drawer. Placing the cigar in-between his teeth was Roderick now, as he reached back into his desk for a lighter.

However, coming into the room now was Dmitri. The sight of the character caught Roderick's eye, where he then threw the cigar out from his mouth in rage as the cigar itself bounced amongst his desk.

"That wasn't aimed at me, was it?-"

"What the hell are you doing here?!" Roderick immediate asked after Dmitri.

"...I thought we were friends, Roderick," Dmitri stated, whereas Roderick begun to laugh hysterically as he then combed his slick-white hair back.

"Don't play games with me," Roderick told Dmitri. "You may be a master of disguise, but you're not a master of trickery. So don't try to overplay your hand."

Dmitri nodded in agreement, where he then took a seat in-front of Roderick's desk.

"Good point," Dmitri complemented.

Roderick didn't respond, as Dmitri looked at him in confusion.

"Aren't you going to ask me what I'm doing here?" Dmitri asked arrogantly.

"I already asked, Dmitri," Roderick replied. "...But I'll go ahead and ask you another: Why did you send the 'Rhinoceros Man' here today?"

"He was a friend of mine who wanted a job... so I gave him one," Dmitri claimed.

"Really?"

"Really."

"Then what was the job, Dmitri?"

"You know what it was... And you know what it remains to be."

"Why don't you refresh my memory then, Dmitri?..."

Dmitri didn't respond, as Roderick still awaited patiently for one.

"I helped you once before," Roderick begun. "You owe me a favour."

"Yet you didn't ask for one," Dmitri returned, as Roderick stared coldly at him. "You know the problem with all you... wealthy people?... You just don't take the time to think things through."

Dmitri then smiled, showcasing his crystal-white teeth to Roderick.

Chapter 4 ~ "Given Names"

Seated within the darkened corridor of the abandoned warehouse was Kraven and the two men from the computers earlier on. A fire lied between the three men, as they all ate their own particular foods: Kraven ate from a can of beans with his pocket knife, while the other two ate granold bars.

"So what's your fellas names?" Kraven asked, refering to both of the men. They struggled to see who would respond first, as Kraven continued to eat.

"My name is Viktor," one of the men, known as Viktor, finally spoke. Viktor then turned towards the other man, who paused for a moment; exchanging looks between the two.

"I'm the only one of this group who's not Russian," the man revealed. "Dmitri was looking for Russians to help him with this, I spoke the language, I was always interested in doing something of this scope, and I've always dreamed of it."

"...What's your name, my friend?" Kraven once again asked, this time signaling the question to the currently nameless man alone. The man finally felt at ease, as he let out a deep sigh.

"My name is Nicolas," the man finally revealed. "But I'd prefer it if you'd both call me Nick."

Kraven then stepped to his feet, as he reached his hand right over the fire to Nick. Nick looked at Kraven's hand, as he slowly begun to rise to his own feet. Finally, Nick took hold of Kraven's hand. Where the both of them shook hands over the fire.

"Sergei Kravinoff," Kraven exchanged with Nick.

"Kraven the Hunter, right? That's what the-"

"Bah," Kraven let off the sound jokingly, as he sat back down beside the fire; where he then went back to eating from out of the bean can with his pocket knife. Where Nick then smirked through the man's kindness towards him.

----------

Once again seated on the edge of his bed inside his apartment was Peter, who held his Spider-Man attire out in-front of him, while he was continuing on with the re-stitching of the new-found cuts in his costume.

Reeling the thread now over his lamp was Peter, as he slowly continued to loop the needle and thread through and through the costume repeatedly, until he was satisfied, where he then bit of the piece of thread with his teeth.

Double-checking the costume now for anymore cuts in it was Peter, as he rose it up to the light of his lamp. Everything looked clear, but he could tell where he had just sewn the costume.

Pleased enough by his work, he placed the attire back into the suitcase, closed it, and pushed it back underneath his bed.

Completely exhausted now, Peter was. As he rested his back alongside his bed and finally turned off the lamp, in-order to fall asleep.

Chapter 5 ~ "Daily Tasks"

It was 6:00am, as Peter's alarm clock begun to ring.

Almost immediately, Peter pushed the 'Snooze' button and leapt out of the bed, he then raced out into the hallway with the clothes he quickly snatched amongst the end table near his bed.

Making it quickly into the restroom out in the hallway was Peter, as he quickly shut the door behind his entry.

----------

Swinging from webline-to-webline now was Spider-Man, as he slowly swung through the city's skylines; examining the city streets below.

Pleased enough by the atmosphere, he then set out into his own direction.

----------

Clung alongside the wall of the Daily Bugle, Spider-Man carefully pulled the window open leading into the storage room. Landing inside, Spider-Man quickly begun to take off his "hero" attire. Underneath lied Peter Parker's civilian clothing.

Peter then pulled open a vent, after climbing up onto a chair to reach for it. Pulling out his backpack now did Peter, where he then checked it to make sure all of his schoolwork was there. It was. Peter then zipped that particular back up and pulled open another, where he then put the "hero" attire inside.

Before closing the zipper, Peter pulled out a filefolder; which contained his photographs of Spider-Man.

----------

"Ms. Brant, I'm hungry," the Daily Bugle's very own publisher, J. Jonah Jameson, shouted into the intercom over to his secretary Betty.

"Hoffman's on it, sir," Betty replied back to JJJ, through the intercom.

"Ohh," Jameson said, where he suddenly pushed a button underneath his desk (which opened the door to his office) and pulled up a megaphone to his mouth. "Hoffman!"

Across the busy room outside Jonah's office, a mob of people cleared a path for a figure rushing towards Jameson's office, it was Hoffman; who was carefully running with a sub in one hand and a cup of coffee in the other.

"What happened to my slave-worker?" Jameson asked himself, whereas Robbie then came into the office.

"You fired him," Robbie answered.

"Friedburg too?"

"Yeah, Jonah."

"God!" Jameson cursed, where Peter then came along Jameson's doorway.

"Mr. Jameson," Peter greeted, awaiting proper entry into Jameson's office. Robbie and Jameson both turned around towards Peter.

"Peter," Robbie said fearfully. Peter, confused, turned around only to catch Hoffman run right into him. With the both of them falling to the floor, the cup of coffee Hoffman was carrying landed right on Jameson's desk. Peter picked up his filefolder, while Hoffman retrieved his glasses which fell loose from his face after the collision. He put them back on to catch a enraged look set across Jameson's face.

"Sir," Hoffman carefully begun. "Now, I know that the current economic climate has-"

"You imbecile!" Jameson screamed in rage. "That's the last time I'll ever get you to do a single chore like that again! Oh boy, you're lucky that this intercom was on sale... But guess what?"

"What?"

"You're buying me another one!" Jameson continued on with his rant. "Do you even have a clue how much this thing cost?"

"Fifty bucks, sir?"

"What?! Are you trying to call me cheap or something?!..."

"No, sir."

"Excuse me, sir," Peter intrupted, holding his filefolder before Jameson.

"Twenty dollars," Jameson suddenly called, while he turned down to the filefolder.

"For the photos?" Peter asked in confusion.

Without answering Peter, Jameson snatched hold of the filefolder and pulled out the photographs inside, where he quickly begun flipping through the photographs. Finally finished looking at them, he then threw the filefolder and pictures down to the desk.

"Hundred bucks for all of them," Jameson barked at Peter.

"How about a hundred more?" Peter gambled.

"What?!" Jameson immediately screamed after the statement. "After what I'm having to spend on getting a new one of these things [Jameson pointed to the intercom]?!..."

"I thought he was paying for the new one," Peter replied, signaling to Hoffman.

However, right when Peter turned his attention back to Jameson. Jameson immediately threw into his hand a cheque.

"Goodbye!" Jameson yelled at Peter, where he finally stood up from his seat and made his way around the desk. Peter quickly checked the cheque, it read for: "$250".

"Okay," Peter told himself, as he made his way out of Jameson's office, whereas Jameson continued screaming at Hoffman, while Robbie pulled the soaking wet papers off of Jameson's desk and placed them safely down into a box.

Chapter 6 ~ "Friendly Faces"

The sight of the crumbled wall of the very building so dedicated to its fashion products caught the eye of Mary Jane, as she walked into the front lobby; avoiding the yellow-tape blocking the whole crowd from the area where new modeling on the extremely cracked or destroyed floorboards and walls were undergoing.

"Mary Jane!"

A voice from the crowd called out to the lady with the very same name. Whereas she spun about, trying to find the figure.

Finally catching her was-

"Gwen," Mary Jane said, as she was greeted by a hug, from the other lady, so known as Gwen Stacy.

"You finally decided to catch me on the break," Gwen replied, whereas she helped to guide Mary Jane and herself out of the crowded area.

"Yeah, well," Mary Jane begun, as Gwen continued pulling her through the crowd of people. "Finally had a break with my own job."

"Yeah?" Gwen asked.

"Yeah," Mary Jane answered.

A silence broke over the two for a moment, as they pushed to make it out of the heavily-packed building. Finally, they succeeded. The two of them looked at each other for a moment, where they then begun to chuckle hysterically.

----------

Connors held a vial filled with a liquid-green formula up to his eye. For a moment, he stood staring through and beyond the transparent vial of green liquid.

Until suddenly, the swing of a door opening caught him off guard. Where he then carefully and quickly placed the vial back to where it stood. Connors turned around to find that already walking towards him was Peter, who set his backpack down on a chair.

"Am I late again?" Peter asked, as he pulled out some papers from his backpack. Dr. Connors turned around towards the clock, it was 1:14pm.

"Weren't you supposed to be here around 12:00 - 12:30?" Dr. Connors asked Peter in return. Peter then looked up at Connors in confusion, where he then examined the time on his watch.

"Is my watch broken? Or is it your clock up there?" Peter asked, continuing the reign of questions. Whereas Connors once again turned back around towards the clock on the wall.

"Well," Dr. Connors paused, as he carefully examined the movement of the lowest hand on the clock; the "second" hand. "I suppose yours is further more correct than mine."

Dr. Connors turned back around towards Peter, after catching the un-movement with the wall-clock's hands. Peter, however, was holding a set of papers in-hand almost right beside his face.

"Please tell me it's coming soon," Dr. Connors prayed.

"Sure is, Doc," Peter answered Connors gleefully, where Connors then cheered in joy. As he marched towards Peter. Dr. Connors and Peter then shook each other's hands.

"Proud to have had you as my assistant, Mr. Parker," Dr. Connors said, to proud by the news to explain.

"Likewise, Doc," Peter replied.

Chapter 7 ~ "Paying Customers"

Into the dark, and nearly deserted, warehourse. Two unknown figures walked across the room, to where Dmitri, Kraven, Viktor and Nick stood in-front of a long-table with a wooden crate set amongst it.

Behind the table, and out of view from the two, Viktor and Nick held weapons firmly in-hand; in caution of the two newcomers.

"Five... hundred... thousand... dollars," Montana, the man so known, begun. Walking with a sense of arrogance in his strut. "A two year payment... of five hundred thousand dollars every two years. Is that a bargain? Well, that's what I'm here to ask you about myself, Mr. Chameleon."

Suddenly, Kraven pulled a bow from out behind his back and held an arrow in-between it, where he then raced right after the man known as Montana before either he or his accomplice could react.

"Say that again about my brother, mate," Kraven dared Montana intensily. "Say it!"

"Herman, come on man. Let's-"

"Herman?" Dmitri paused from speaking for a moment, where a hit of tension rose over the customer and his pal. The tension increased when Kraven turned back towards them. "I thought your name was Montana."

"Nickname, fella," the man with the realname of Herman replied to Dmitri, where he then turned his attention to the man holding the arrow away only inches from colliding with his face. "Also, if you don't get that arrow out of my face in one second... I'm going to forever haunt the living hell out of you as your very own Ghost From Christmas Past."

Kraven then angerily threw his bow and arrow away from Herman's face, where Herman himself then walked around Kraven and towards Dmitri.

"You told me and my friend here," Herman refered to his accomplice, Mark. "To call you: Chameleon. And for what? To have some guy in lion's skins threaten my life?"

"I did tell you to call me Chameleon. So, I think we can all call ourselves even. Right?" Dmitri asked the whole pack of individuals, Kraven was the slowest to agree in favour. "Good."

Chapter 8 ~ "Street Crossing"

"Can you give me a hand with this, Pete?" Dr. Connors called back to Peter, as the computer monitor was falling further and further out of the grip of his one arm.

Peter looked back at Connors and raced towards him. And, just in-time before the monitor fell out of Connor's hand. Peter slid under it and caught it fresh with both his hands. Dr. Connors sighed in relief.

"Thanks, Peter," Dr. Connors helped Peter up, as he set the monitor on the table before him. "Would've cost me my head."

Peter laughed, where he then turned back to face Dr. Connors.

"No problem," Peter replied. "Would've came after me, as well."

With that, both Connors and Peter begun to laugh.

----------

Making it across the busy street now were Mary Jane and Gwen, where both finally stepped onto the sidewalk. However, Gwen caught sight of somebody else.

"Dad," Gwen called to her father, Captain Stacy, where he then turned towards her.

"Gwen," Stacy called back to her, as he walked towards the two. "So you two were the ones jay-walking across this busy street."

"That was us," Mary Jane replied, where she then shook Captain Stacy's hand. "Pleased to meet you."

"Likewise," Captain Stacy studdered, trying to remember her name.

"Mary Jane," Gwen completed, as Captain Stacy caught on.

"Oh, yes," Captain Stacy recalled. "Pleased to meet you, as well. Now, run along... I'm on the job here, you know."

Gwen and Mary Jane chuckled at Captain Stacy's reply.

"No problem, dad," Gwen said, where she and Mary Jane headed back into the direction they were walking. Gwen then turned back around to wave at Captain Stacy. "Good luck!"

Captain Stacy smirked, as he waved back at the two.

Thanks, hood:yay:

Chapter 9 ~ "Striking Faces"

The day was pretty much over for the man known as Peter Parker, as his alter-ego, Spider-Man, patrolled the city streets (once again). Swinging from the skyscrapers into the dark and snowy night.

Landing on the rooftop of a building nearest to the slickly-lighten city streets of Manhattan was Spider-Man, as he carefully examined the passing elements on the street.

----------

Closing the door, once he set his coat on the bench inside the house, was Dr. Connors. As he locked the lock amongst the door's handle and headed into the kitchen.

In the kitchen, Connors met his wife, Martha, as he caught her by surprise and kissed her on the cheek while she was washing dishes in the sink.

"How was your day?" Martha asked Dr. Connors.

"I don't know... how was your's?" Dr. Connors reversed his position of speech, as Martha sighed.

"Hate it when you do that," Martha said, as she then flicked water from the sink at Connors. Connors chuckled for a moment, where he then walked over beside her to help dry the dishes and set them back in their place.

"Day was good," Dr. Connors answered, while he dried off a plate with the dry cloth. "Peter ordered out the package for me, said it'll be here in a matter of days."

"Oh, yes," Martha replied. "The project you don't want the university to know about."

"Of course not," Dr. Connors explained, peering over at her. "Do you realise how selfish people are nowadays?"

Without responding, Martha looked at Connors.

"You know what they'd do if they discovered what I was doing?" Dr. Connors paused for a moment. "They'd steal my idea, my..."

"Genius?" Martha guessed, as Dr. Connors himself smirked.

"...I guess you can say so," Dr. Connors felt a hint of honour rise over him, as he then set another dish away back into the cupboard.

----------

The only one in the warehouse with his own seperate room was Dmitri, as before him sat a long row of masks; which held the form of other people's faces. Seated next to the candle on the table was Dmitri, as he worked on improving another one of his masks.

"You really are serious about this, aren't you brother?" Kraven asked Dmitri, as he sat along beside him on the couch.

"Of course I am, Sergei," Dmitri replied, where he took a break from working on the mask for a moment to glance view at Kraven. "Why'd you think I asked you to come?"

"Spider-Man?" Kraven guessed, where Dmitri responded by nodding his head in agreement. "If that is true... Then why did you hire these other men to do the job for me?"

"I didn't hire our friend in the Rhino-suit, Sergei. I held his wife as bait, and now she's dead and a new part of my collection," Dmitri explained to Kraven. "The cowboy we got here today is here because he's a cowboy... But he's not going to be the one to take down the Spider-Man... Even with all the technology in the world."

"You still haven't answered my question."

Dmitri stood frozen for a moment, staring at Kraven with his two blue eyes. Where suddenly, he then reached for his own neck. Pulling up the skin, it was now realized that the face we had seen before had only been a mask. Underneath it lied a metalic, mirror-like skin. With the same form of a human's face, only his head was exactly as explained.

"Soon Spider-Man will be taken out of the equation long enough for me to do what I have to," Dmitri explained. "The only way to truly bring down a hero's spirit is to give him no hope of a one-day peaceful world... And that's the world I look to create, my brother. I only want to the weapons at my disposal... For nine long years I've been planning this. If the cowboy doesn't kill Spider-Man tomorrow, or if you don't kill the Spider-Man tomorrow... Either way, after it's all said and done, I'm still going to know who's behind the mask."

Dmitri exchanged a sinister look with his brother.
