With Nic Cage reprising his Noir role in live action, I wonder if we'll see the same with other characters like Gwen or Miguel? Both actors are perfect.

Spider-Man 2099, I want to see eventually.

Spider-Gwen? I don't think it would have the same impact compare to the comics, having a superheroine Gwen Stacy in the MCU, as she didn't matter to Spider-Man in the previous films.

I could see both being done under Sony. If they still plan to make Marvel live action movies aside from their co-productions with Marvel Studios.

Aren't all the crossovers part of the Marvel/Sony deal? That Sony basically went "okay you can use Spider-Man for your Avengers movies but you better put the Avengers/MCU characters in the Spider-Man movies too, because we want to benefit from the crossovers as well".

They've reached the full potential of interconnecting Spider-Man with Marvel characters (and more to come), as they should. But enough, I miss Spider-Man on his own.

They were perfectly fine with sticking Black Widow in tight spy suits to match her comic form, just as they’ve drawn a clear distinction between “sexy lady going about her business” with Gamora or Captain Marvel and “sexy lady being sexy” like Ayesha or about half the female Avengers off-hour outfits.

Now, were they “the cleavage shall descend to the belly button at all times and the only explanation for how the top stays on must be magic tape!” like some artists draw? Never.

But with Felicia, the question mostly becomes how much they would want to communicate “This professional thief also likes to look good” versus “this professional thief is a professional thief only.”

I saw her in Yellowjackets and she is good in that show.

Its weird, there's been 7 Spider-Man live action films, and we haven't seen anyfemale super powered character in any of them. Black Cat would be the first?

As with every rumor , one can take it with a grain of salt, but according to MyTimeToShineHello, Willem Dafoe is in talks to return as Green Goblin/ Norman Osborn.

It isn't clear though whether it's for Spiderman 4 or for Avengers: Secret Wars.

I could actually buy this for either film actually , though Avengers : Secret Wars would make the most sense ,since the original version pit heroes against villains on Battleworld .

The film is said to present a fresh take on the character and a new direction under Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings director Destin Daniel Cretton.

So, casting grids describe Spider-Man 4 as a fresh take on the hero, with a new supporting cast and a new direction under Daniel Cretton. It’s basically a soft reboot, similar to what Thor: Ragnarok did for Thor.

It has already been reported by us that Spider-Man 4 will feature a new female love interest for Peter Parker. Zendaya‘s role as Michelle “MJ” Jones will be like a brief cameo. This is also due to her scheduling conflicts with several other movies she has signed on for. Also, I heard Black Cat is a potential choice, but the official casting will be announced soon.

I could see the potential Felicia/Black Cat role slotting in as a bit of an amalgam of Katy (Awkafina) and Xialing (Meng’er Zhang) from Shang-Chi: companion + action. We’ll just have to wait a bit longer to find out.

Interested to see who will be the new supporting characters. MJ and Ned weren't interesting to me. I never liked them. Ned, I wasn't familiar with outside of the movies. I didn't like the "MJ is the MCU Mary Jane Watson, but she's also not" angle. They didn't feel like classic Spider-Man characters to me.

If Black Cat is the companion superhero this time, then it also would be a lot more interesting than having Iron Man/Nick/Strange.
