Spider-man Day? (speculation thread)

So....thinking about this, it got me wondering of what could happen?

The most obvious one that came into mind is that something goes wrong (I'm thinking Symbiote costume) and Spider-man accidentally wrecks the whole parade and because of the new costume, causes everyone to go against him?

Maybe this is just me being stupid, so sorry if you disagree with this idea.

What do you think COULD happen in this scene?

actually your idea is good, but just to add to it, this movie could be a time when the city is starting to see spidey for who he really is, a hero. and this day is to celebrate him, but having the symbiote on him, he ruins everything like you said, and this causes the city to go against him like you said.

or

we know sandman has a daughter in this movie, i don't know how old she is supposed to be or what her true role is in this movie, so this is an idea out of my head, but she could be in the school marching band and sandman goes to see his daughter perform, but spidey is there also and a huge battle breaks out over everyone.

well apparently they want to shoot a parade in New York for what I've heard is Spider-man day, but they are finding it hard to get permission to film.

Well isn´t everything rumors right now? Except for a couple of pictures and some interviews we know next to nothing about this movie. It´s all speculation, hearsay and rumors and it´s going to be that way for a pretty long time.

The teaser trailer is going to be intresting because that will at least reveal some of the things about the movie and give us something more substantial than the "I read on a blog that Venom will merge with the Sandman" rumors that are flying around.

Well we know that Sandman is in the film. I suppose that's all we really know at this point.

The Amazing Lee, yeah we know that Sandman is in since we have seen the picture. We know that the black suit will play a part in this movie since we saw the picture. And we know that something is up with Harry since a lot Spider-Man 2 focused on him starting to go over the edge. And I think that we know that Gwen Stacy is in the movie, I´m not sure if that is confirmed though.

The rest is rumors based on what we know.

Somone should make a sticky thread about what is confirmed and what we know so we could fill in things as they get confirmed. That should make things easier. And cut down on the newbie "Oh my God!!!11 I just heard that Venom is in this movie, what do u guyz think?" threads.

Anyways the script review said...Big celebration, Gwen Stacy MC's, gives spidey an upside-down kiss, then the party gets crashed by sandman robbing an armored truck.
