Far From Home Spider-Man: Far From Home General Discussion and Speculation - Part 2

Watching spiderman 2 right now for like the 100th time and man the action never gets old and the action was really my only issue with home comming some hopefully far from home improved that part.

Lol, so much hyperbole. The early reactions for Captain Marvel were glowing, too. Not gonna fall for it again.

This isn't the first time I've read "tops Spider-Man 2" and not the first time it wasn't true. Gotta see it to believe it.

Its good to know the reviews are looking good though. I'll be there july 2nd.

Oh and for me SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME had three legit “holy ----” shocking moments.

Im so tired of the spider-man 2 comparisons. It doesnt does to be topped. Just make a good movie and watts seems to hace made two of those.

Internets obsession with comparisons is tiresome. Also i see some people who have declared they have no excitement about the mcus future are still here constantly throwing negativity. Its really strange.....

I’ve gotten jaded. Overly enthusiastic early tweet reactions don’t mean much to me. If they are negative or lukewarm, I’d be concerned.

But I can’t tell you how many times I’ve read “end credits scene is a game change!!!” and it’s not.

Not as much as these. This is going to be better reviewed than CM.

Kevin McCarthy‏ @KevinMcCarthyTV
I don’t think I’ve been this excited to re-watch a film since Jordan Peele’s Get Out & Us. Watts masterfully layers incredible action, storytelling and character development into a film that will be a whole new experience on the 2nd watch. 2 of the best end credits scenes ever.

I know you're referring to me but I don't know who you are.

That's likely but replace Captain Marvel with Doctor Strange or Ant-Man and the Wasp and that's exactly what people were saying back then about CM. I remember it very clearly.

Marvel's expertise lies in that initial theater going experience/first watch that leave people coming out glowing but by the time I finally see it, I'm not on the same page. Been like this with these critics for years now with MCU movies. Not falling for it again.
