On a more positive note that SSM cover is badass.

For god's sake Pete's been through hell and back, not to mention whatever fallout from this civil war crap. Why can't Marvel just give him a break?? Oh lemme guess...Uncle Ben's alive after all!

In the last 3 years how often have Marvel said this about Spidey? I have lost count now. I really want to get back onto a Spidey title, but how can I when all when get is crap like this all the time?

When Spidey wore the alien symbiote costume, the webbing DID come out from the top of his wrists...

So this cover is quite accurate in its depiction of Spidey wearing the Alien symbiote costume.

I put the pics above the solicits that coincide with them. FNSM didn't have a cover shown yet, the third one is of the Spider-Family one.

I agree with everyone who has said that the SSM cover is badass. I'll definately be picking that up, and possibly FNSM if only for Sandman and answers to all that's been going on in that title.

Alternate Uncle Ben will probably be used to convey how Sandman was Uncle Ben's real killer. It's no coincidence that wrapping up the alternate Ben story and the appearance of Sandman happens in the same issue of FRIENDLY.

Just like it's no coincidence that Peter David wrote the novelisation of SPIDER-MAN 3, so quite more then anyone at Marvel has a grasp of what happens in the film therefore is in prime position to mimic/reflect it.

It sort of works within the self-contained continuity of the films, but introducing that into the comics is just asinine.

No, wait! With this, you can resurrect the idea that Norman Osborn and Sandman were cousins, and then you can reveal that NORMAN hired his cousin to kill Ben, thus setting Peter on the path to becoming Spider-Man and therefore being responsible for literally everything that goes wrong in Peter's life!

Sensational Spidey sounds freakin' awesome in Feb.
