Spider-Man: Gifts & Curses

Gifts & Curses is a virtual series based on Spider-Man. The series is an adaptation/re-imagining of Spider-Man, featuring a young Peter Parker as he attempts to cope with personal tragedy, while balancing school, his friends, and a budding romance with his secret life as Spider-Man. I posted about this here two years ago when I began developing it, so some of you may remember it from then.​

WHAT IS A VIRTUAL SERIES?
Not sure what a virtual series is? Basically, a virtual series is a series of unproduced teleplays (scripts) released over the internet by a person or group of people. These scripts are episodes structured the same way most major TV networks structure big name shows such as Lost, Heroes, & CSI, and together form seasons just as their real world counterparts do. The difference being our scripts aren't actually filmed.​

One other thing you might have noticed is that we use pictures of real actors. Why do we need to do this if the scripts aren't actually filmed? Simple. We 'cast' our characters to help you, the reader, visualize what they look like while reading an episode.​

The show premiered in September of 2007 as part of Monster Zero Productions and completed its first season in January of 2008. The second season is currently being written and is scheduled to premiere on July 29th, 2009. hey, i remember this. it's been a while since ive heard anything bout it. so i didnt know if it was still going or not. glad to see that it still is.

Heh, yeah. You were on staff in the early stages, IIRC.

yeah, i was starting to come down with writer's block. any ideas bout maybe doing an X-Men type of show in this type of format? need any help with anything feel free to lemme know.
