Honestly, I wasn't expecting reactions like this either with the trailers we've gotten. I didn't think the trailers were bad, they got me excited (2nd trailer did the least for me, 3rd I think is the best) but I still was thinking the best this was going to be was just another good Marvel movie. Really hoping this movie is as good as people have been saying because with Spidey, you really need to pull out the brakes at this point and do some great stuff.

Watching the live stream of the premiere, Hannibal Burress looks totally different than he normally does.

With all these reviews coming out, it looks like they attended some other viewing outside of tonight's premiere since the film is over 2 hours long and the premiere started at 6 PM PST. I imagine if that's the case, we'll be seeing a whole other set of reactions sometime around 9 PM PST once the premiere viewing ends.

#SpiderManHomecoming is so good it'll make you forget the first 5 Spidey movies. Though you probably/hopefully already forgot about the 3rd.

It's not a reboot. It's a REBIRTH. Marvel is so good at this, it's scary. So happy/relieved they finally brought Spidey back home.

Speaking of "so good, it's scary," three words: Michael. ****ing. Keaton.

#SpiderManHomecoming has one of the best scenes between hero & villain in ANY comic book movie. It's a quiet dialogue scene. But so intense.

Spider-Man: Homecoming is a kick. A hilarious teen comedy that happens to be a superhero movie. Holland is so loveable - sincerity is back!

Also, this is the first Marvel Studios film to feature exceptional location work. New York's outer boroughs are characters in this movie.

Between Homecoming and the eye-gorging super-saturated colors of Guardians 2, Marvel is shaking up its visual palette.

I wish I could say Homecoming moved me, though. But not everything can be Wonder Woman.

one thing i loved about Cop Car was how Watts captures the youthful spirit of adventure & thrill of danger. he does that esp well with SM:H
