This just confirmed to me that everything he's been saying about SM3 is full of bulls***. Similar plot elements may still happen, but that's about it.

100% certain Tobey Maguire started filming along with Andrew Garfield the day Tom Holland posted that Instagram post.

I'm just glad I didn't get my hopes up about anything major dropping today, because I had a feeling it wouldn't this early in the game and kudos to Holland for staying as tight lipped as possible.

They are still keeping alot of this underwraps, but regardless it will be glorious seeing that first official still of Holland, Maguire and Garfield together.

I'm pretty sure it will break the internet just as much as any trailer or poster.

Maguire does have a reputation for being difficult to work with, but that doesn't mean it's true for every movie he's worked on, or for this one. There's also no way any of these scoopers would be close enough to the production to know that sort of thing.

He smacked Lizard a couple of times but it barely fazed him. And I have to disagree with you on who gave Spidey the worst beating. Green Goblin in SM1 brutalized Spidey so bad, I still kinda cringe when I watch it.

Yeah, but atleast Tobey turned his fight around. Andrew didnt even beat Lizard, he just managed to turn the dude human again. And barely at that.

I mean the action sequences in the Watts films aren't exactly top-tier, but they're much, MUCH better than the ones in the Webb films. The school fight between Spidey and Lizard was laughably bad.
Dude, chill, let's not descend into a complete stupidity with these TASM hate lol :whatever:
The action scenes in Webb films were extremely well made from the technical perspective and that school fight alone makes the action scenes in Watts films look amateurish (apart from that Mysterio scene, yeah).
What makes the action scenes in Homecoming and FFH work is the story and the characters that keep you invested in it, because on it's own, the action in those films is pretty bland and unimaginative. If those films were just as boring and uninspiring as TASM, the problems with the action sequences would've been much more noticeable. And it goes to the overall cinematography of those films as well.

I mean, I'm just saying what I think. So are you. I'm sorry you think I'm being stupid :oldrazz:

Tears. Just lots and lots of tears. Straight up ugly crying from my end. :funny:

Worth a read. Potentially contains a tidbit of a spoiler for the beginning.

...man I hope this is true, if only so people can call out DanielRPK's bullcrap, but still taking it with a grain of salt.

When it comes to the Lizard. he was much stronger than him. its like Spider-man vs the hulk and saying pfft spider-man didn't even beat the hulk, he just managed to somehow stop him.

I dont want Daniel to be wrong. I just wish he'd stop with the clearly fake rumors. Its clear from the majority of leaks thus far being similar to what he's stated that he's likely got some credible and similar sources.

The only thing he's reported that I think might likely be true is the Sinister Six thing. Other than that, I don't buy anything else is telling.

I will say that, while I'm somewhat skeptical of that MCU spoiler post, it does line up with the few things we've seen so far on set and the fact that the guy doesn't want to draw attention to himself makes me more inclined to believe him in comparison to DanielRPK.

I do believe Daniel on alot of this stuff. the problem with leaks though and i have found this does happen alot. alot of leaks often WERE true at some point. the said sources are often people who hear information months out of date. often it could be small talk in the studio that gets taken and spread like chinese whispers, or its information that was later changed.

For example i believe Sony would want Venom in this movie. so when daniel said Sony want him in the movie... i can totally believe that. doesn't mean its gonna happen, but i believe they might have talked about it at some point.

*edited out this post because I felt I came across as too meanspirited and a little unfair to GuestStar, and for that I apologize*

Some nice little tidbits, but the thing that made me scratch my head was
Peter and Michelle's relationship not going continuing beyond this movie? That doesn't seem right, but who knows. Maybe that's just a consequence of Peter's actions and they breakup because he wants to protect her or something.

Also DanielRPK has always been one of the least reputable scoopers out there and I've never understood how he's gotten so big. Almost all the things he was right about when it came to scooping were either random guesses as to when trailers would drop, or reported by other people first.

Slightly related, I guess someone on the MarvelStudiosSpoilers Reddit decided to make a spreadsheet tracking every single MCU rumor and whether it turned out right to try and figure out who was a reputable source and who wasn't. It wasn't done when I browsed through it, but it was some interesting stuff.

I wonder how long they’ve been planning to do a Spider-Verse crossover type of film. Can’t imagine Marvel started Homecoming with the intention of taking this third installment in this direction, but I could be wrong.
