It's still the best live action Spider-Man film.

Its right up there has like one of my favorite movies ever and yeah ock is so badass. I will peal the flesh of her bones or like him coming into the train and pushing the side of the train and yeah the train fight is like my all time favorite scene in like any movie yeah that good and the small emotion stuff like hero in all of us and Peter telling may about uncle ben add a lot to the movie. At the end battle now. May rewatch spectacular spiderman soon to has its a great show and ock was great in that.

About the theater release I hope we do get it in December has 1 it had already gotten delayed 1 time from summer to December. 2 Its supposed to be like my xmas movie this year. 3 I just love spiderman like all of you guys of course and dont want to have to wait longer. 4 I am just tired of delays and such after this last year and not getting to go to the movies. 5 I work in a grocery store if I am going to get covid I am just going to get it. 6 I dont think covid is even close to has bad has we are being told but that is a whole different store I am not trying to get into lol.

Oh well... Glad that it finally got debunked. So now we can move on discussing other aspects of the movie.

It was too good to be true and way big of news for Sony to not announce it by now.
Guess the 1% chance that they are not in the movie won.

How funny would this all be, if the multi-verse aspect of Spider-Man 3 is very minor aka just Ock and Electro.

And this is where the skeptical 1% part of me starts to creep its ugly head and assuming all the clues we've gotten over the past months have all just been coincidence and nothing more. That it will just be the identity crisis plot the entire movie with Electro just maybe being from the ASM movies and nothing else multiverse related.

Unlike the previous interview, Tom directly denied that they were in it which he could be lying about, but if he's not, then... :csad:

I think Holland is getting better at lying. Marvel and Sony would get PISSED if he dropped the bombshell himself.

It’s entirely possible he’s just lying. Actors have straight up denied stuff before that turned out to be true.

Like @Arachnerd said, the only thing that gives me a sliver of doubt that he might be telling the truth is that in the other interview he seemed a bit ambiguous/coy while here he’s just a firm straight up “no they’re not in it”.

And that last part is what worries me. Well, time to enter full skeptical mode of every new rumor that comes out of this movie now.

I'm sure the MCU Redditors are throwing a party right now and going "i ToLd YoU sO!!111". :whatever:

If they aren't in it, I will say my interest in this film has drastically dropped. Only saving grace would be Molina.

Not saying he's lying or telling the truth (cause obviously he's not gonna spoil the movie) but it would funny if we're all thinking they're in it for so many months and it ends up not even being close to be true.

If anything, I guess it would show that maybe we shouldn't be quick to believe certain scoopers.

They are likely in it. the thing with silence like this is often because they ain't in it that much.

So many fake insiders are going to be exposed if Toby and Andrew aren’t in this.

If they aren’t in it, not sure I’ll be as inclined to watch.

Tbh, I wished all along that Holland's Spidey would just be allowed to stand on his own for once and come into his own right as a superhero, like the climax of Far From Home seemed to be establishing, and I didn't see the need for suddenly throwing him into a multi-verse.

But now, I've kind of assumed Maguire and Garfield are in it for months now, and it feels a bit deflating and anti-climactic if they're not in it after all, even though I wasn't one of the people crazy about the idea in the first place.

They're not in it. Between this and Tom Holland's standalone comment in his Variety interview viewed in a new light, it pretty much paints a clear picture. Everything we've gotten since summer last year has been nothing but pure coincidence after pure coincidence, and that's not even counting half the rumors. The more people accept that live-action Spider-Verse ain't happening, the better.

The only multiverse connection I can see this movie having is arguably with Electro truly being from the ASM universe, but other than that nada and Alfred Molina will most likely be playing an MCU Doc Ock.

Might as well. It sounded way too good to be true to begin with.

Welp time to pack it in boys, so much for that. Was fun while it lasted.

:o

Come on now. He’s lying people.

ALFRED MOLINA AND JAMIE FOXX are reprising their roles. There is no damn way their respective Spider-men arent playing a role in this.

Sorry, but I'm remaining extremely skeptical for the time being. I'd advise all of you to do the same to a lesser extent.

Ok, I kinda get that Holland may be lying and that both actors are in the movie.

But this is the first time someone related in the production of the movie has straight denied their involvement.
So, I suggest lets move on other aspects of the movie, because the less we talk that Andrew and Tobey are alternate versions or how the movie will have Miles, Venom, Morbius - the better.

And Zack Snyder Denied Zod was the villain in MOS. Marion Cotilard denied she was playing Talia in The Dark Knight Rises etc.

Zendaya already said she can't confirm or deny they're in the film. He's lying . Actors , directors, studios, publicists etc, lie to the public all the time.

Look, people are gonna believe what they're gonna believe at this point.

If there are fans who believe Maguire and Garfield aren't going to make at least a cameo in this film , they can chose to believe that.

I don't buy it, but time will tell.

I go back to the Zendaya statement which she said she can't confirm or deny that they're in it.

Well, Foxx and Molina are confirmed, so no point in asking about them.
