Heh... I picked it up, thumbed through it, and put it down.

I thought I'd wait and see if it got good reviews... but off the bat it (Red Sonja) didn't appeal to me.

I LOVE living in the boonies... but the commute can be a pain.

My comic book shop is directly across the street from my office... it was the inflated Spider-Man on the side of the building that first got my attention. I felt so out of place and overwhelmed when I first walked through the door, but now I love the place. t:

I'm learning to resist the urge to get everything that has "Spider-Man" in the title. I don't know who Red Sonja is exactly, but she needs to put on more clothes...

Anyhoo, I liked Spider-Man/ Red Sonja. It was great seeing Robbie in his offices. Lol.

I LOVE living in the boonies... but the commute can be a pain.

This first issue was interesting. Without giving away anything-Think of Red Heads in Spidey's life.

I really enjoyed it. Wish Turner had done the interiors as well as the cover, but oh well.

Hey; did any of you ever read those X-Men issues when this Kulan Gath guy showed up in THAT book? He pretty much warped reality in that storyline too, and ended up crucifying Peter. I cant remember the exact issues though, as im not much into X-Men (only looked at those issues because Spidey was in them)..

i havent been able to pick up my comics since summer began. im using my sparse funds to keep up with amazing, sensational, and ultimate, and daredevil.

Oh, don't get me wrong I love living in the boonies! I'm super close to the mountains and I get to wake up to the mountain range on my drive to school. Nothing beats that

It's just tough to go to my regular comic store...lol. Addictions are painful indeed

It's off to an interestin' start, but we'll see what happens. Kinda plays out the same as the original team-up. Plus, Mel Rubi's art was a bit off when compared to his Sonja work.

Uncanny X-Men #190 & 191...

That crucified Spidey splash page in issue 191 still gives me the willies...

Romita Jr.'s artwork from that time was more influenced by Paul Smith... imo.

I really liked.I thought Turner is great for covers but I liked the Interiors a lot more.The set up is great so far.Can't wait for Venom to get in on the action.

Im surprised. These mini series usually dont do that well...

Get the feeling that in another place and time Pete and Sonja would be tight?

There's a story I'd love to see a follow up on, like say if Pete went back in time and Sonja remembered him.

There was a Marvel One Shot I believe that had Spidey go to South America on some kind of student/educational trip. Anyway, he met this young girl who was destined to be Queen of her Spider Tribe. They were at war with another tribe for artifacts. (I think it was a snake sect) She and Pete really hit it off. The story had possibilities although the artwork and pacing was crap. They were both teenagers at the time (I think the Princess wanted Pete to stay). She said goodbye to him with a kiss and wished him well. It would be interesting to see her return (especially with this so called new world for Pete) and reaction to him as an adult.
