Spider-Man voted #16 in Empire's best movie trilogies.

I would have ranked it alot higher. Then agian,I'm clearly biased. :spidey::sym::otto:

Don't really care for reading it, but where is Lord of the Rings and Back to the Future on that list?

I didnt look thru the whole things, but Number One is LOTR, 2 is Star Wars (Original), 3 is Back to the Future

Back to the Future #3

LOTR #1 as it should be

I wouldve ranked BTTF and Toy Story over the original star wars

its either Lord of the Rings or Star wars depending when you were born

Good to see it on there. A nice spot, too.

Fantastice! just fantastic! It's just so awesome to know that it's there. :spidey::up:

Cool list. But, I would have put the Spiderman triligy a bit higher as well. :woot:

And Ingmar Bergamn triology is #31. Yeah, I'm taking this list very seriously. Anytime soon.

Oh sorry.

I wasn't using your brain to think for myself, forgive me.

LOTR benefits from being conceived from ground up as a trilogy... so it turned out better than most other "trilogies" (1 movie + 2 sequels)

You'd seriously place Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy over the likes of LotR, BttF and SW?

Yeah? What does it matter? Sorry, I really like these movies. Lord of The Rings has quite a few outdated CGI effects and some pretty hokey acting here and there, Star Wars is really cheesy and silly in a few areas and so is Back to the Future.
That said, I still really like those movies. But it's not like they're flawless and there's no reason why I can't like something more than those...

Get over it dude. I really can't like and dislike everything the same way you can. :down

But realistically...Lord of the Rings benefits from being awesome.

The generation of the future ladies and gentlemen...

That's a great thing then. If the next generation is going to differ from your stinky attitude, then hey, count me in.

No...the next generation doesn't know what a classic is then if they(moreso as you) would call Raimi's Spider-Man "#1" instead of such great trilogies like Back to the Future, Lord of the Rings(read the books if you don't care for the films :cwink:), Indiana Jones, et cetera.

But, then, I don't except much of anything when it comes to kids these days

"Common sense isn't common enough" :awesome:

I'm 19? I'm no longer a "kid", legally.

Anywho, in MY own opinion, and in my own taste, I will put Spider-Man above those. I put Spider-Man above Nolan's Batman, I put Spider-Man above Titanic and Avatar. Why? Because I just do. I like it more, I enjoy them, I'm a big fan of the series and grew up with it. I really like Spider-Man in general, so if I like the movies, I can't help it.
I do like Lord of The Rings, and I do love Indiana Jones and Star Wars, but they just aren't my favorite movies of all time. I actually still like movies more than those. Like Predator, Alien, Terminator, Batman etc. Of course Batman can't be on my top trilogy list because Batman Forever busted that trilogy possibility all over the place. But yeah.

So why does it really matter to you? It really shouldn't. Sorry if you're a Spider-Man fan and don't like the Spidey flicks. That really sucks when you're a fan of something and the movies didn't please you. But don't go and start telling people that they can't be a fan of something because you aren't as well.

Again, I refer to the last line of my post.

Just saddening...kids, or, "kids" these days.

Anyways...if you're smart enough, you'd know that the Spidey trilogy isn't near as grand as Back to the Future, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars(the original trilogy), Indiana Jones(the latest installment doesn't count as much as Spider-Man 3). Heck, even the Godfather trilogy, even if the third one was very medicore(again, like Spider-Man 3 ).

Again, no one really cares what you think about where this and that should be.
