Time seems to flow differently on occasion: OK, this was something more pronounced when playing the Wii version versus the HD versions (PS3, Xbox 360). One of Spidey's main attacks is the Web Strike, where he initiates a web attack (a simple snaring of his target) and, depending on the timing and what button is pressed, follows up his websnare with a special attack (a throw, a special punch, or a combo where Spidey wraps his target up with more webbing and uses said target as a makeshift surfboard. Seriously). On the HD versions, it's a bit tricky to hit the buttons in time for a cool Web Strike. On the Wii, even though a Web Strike involves waving your Wii Remote around, it's obscenely easy to orchestrate cool Web Strike combos. Somehow, the timing felt more generous in the Wii version. It also provides a goofy twist -- while the Wii version generally looks less snazzy than the HD consoles, the actual combat looks cooler when I play on the Wii because I can pull off Web Strikes so easily.
