Comics Spider-Man/X-Men Mini Series

It sounds similar to what we saw with the Spider-Man/Human Torch mini of a few years back, so if it's on that same playing field, I'm in...

:yay:

Hmm..sounds good. It seems that each issue has one self contained story

And Black Suit Spider-Man? Must want!

There are two words I can't overlook from that announcement: Ben Reilly.

To me they translate to Instant Buying.

And Gage's a hell of a competent writer to boot, I think this is going to be a great ride.

CaptainStacy, is your new avatar Mary Jane getting bumped around by Felicia's... um... assets? :wow: What mini is that from? I have a sudden urge to buy it.

As for X-Men/Spidey... Black suit, post-Kraven's hunt Spidey... Awesome.

Ben Reilly for-the-first-time-in-over-a-decade-Spidey...? So awesome that it's sheer awesomeness might create a vacuum which produces a black hole that swallows the entire Earth. Every Reilly fan has to buy TWO copies of this issue (because each issue needs its own clone :oldrazz: ) and show Marvel that we want more Reilly stories, even if they're untold.

Sexy, no? :word:

I'm in, especially if it's as fun as the Spidey/Torch mini a few years back :)

That pic/avvy that Capt. Stacey has is drawn by Adam Hughes, if anyone wants to know :)

It's not a fan drawing he's a professional...but it is heavenly:D

Yes I will be buying like 10 copies of the reilly book:up:

gonna buy bout 5 of the reilly issue..... I emailed gage to say thanks for doing a reilly story, he emailed me back quite quickly, seems like a nice guy

Gage is a good writer who uses established Characterizations, so I'm expectin' good things from this. As I said in the Reilly thread, I hope it's 616 Spidey an' not BND.

616 Spidey and the BND Spidey are one and the same...

Deal with it...

:yay:

I've always loved the interactions between the X-men and spiderman, they dont team up often but when they do, its gold.:yay:

Hey who here remembers the Spiderman/ X-men super nintendo game? God i loved that game. lol

I remember that game. It was HARDDDD!!!

Hell yea bro. lol. I finally beat it on emulator a few years ago, but...well that was on emulator, i could never beat it on super NES.

Was there a version of this game for regular Nintendo?

I still have and play with my original NES from 1988... :yay:

:csad:

Arcade's Revenge? I didn't care for it that much. I liked everything Spider-Man back then, but it was too hard and I was like 11 or 10 at the time. Also the graphics were kinda ugly.

For old-school Spider-Man games, my favorite was 'Spider-Man VS the Kingpin' where Kingpin kidnaps MJ and you go through all the warehouses, fighting Doc Ock, Venom, Hobgoblin, Lizard, Electro until finally you face Pinny. And my second favorite was 'Maximum Carnage'... which basically followed the storyline of the crappy saga, but somehow playing it as a videogame with real cut-scenes lifted from the comic made it seem awesome. Anyone remember those two?

The X-Men also had some great oldschool games on the Genesis and also at the arcade. That first time when Wolverine's claws pop out. Nothing will top that, no matter how advanced they get with the graphics and gameplay nowadays. But 'Arcade's Revenge' I didn't care for much.

Those games were ALL really hard, IMO. ESPECIALLY "Maximum Carnage". Man, even with codes put in, I had a heck of a time beating that game!

What about "Separation Anxiety"? You remember that game?
