Guys I just realized that Spiderman 3 has to be well over three hours long. Just please think about it Peter will battle his best friend, finds out Flint Marko was the man who killed his Uncle, fights Sandman, gets the symbiote on him, fights Harry agian with black suit, fights Sandman agian with black suit, has to go on a date and propose, meets Gwen, meets Eddie, fights Venom, go to Harry for help and the final battle. Another reason why i think SP3 will be over3 hours long is that when Peter meets Eddie and then all the sudden we see Eddie in Church asking for God to kill Peter Parker. You dont meet someone than next day you ask God to kill that person. you know what I mean. So hopefully we will find out why Eddie hates Peter so much.

Spider-man: 121 minutes long
Spider-man 2: 127 minutes long

It isn't gonna be three hours long.

I'll guess 135 minutes. (2 hours 15 minutes for the special people)

Hopefully it will be as much as 140 or 150 minutes long. If Harry Potter & Superman Returns can get by with having movies over 150 minutes long then so can Spidey or as much time as it takes to tell the story.

There will be alot of deleted scenes for the dvd. The movie will get cut down for the theatrical run. 133 minutes

2 hours and 30 minutes! Or maybe Sam Raimi was brainwashed by Peter Jackson and is making a 4 hour movie! :wow:

I dont think so, seeing as how Spidey 1 and 2 never had deleted scenes on the dvd

Think again, this is Sony we are talking about, not the evil Fox. Sam will have total control over the movie

140 mins (2:20).

Whats the point of that? They can add an extra ten minutes and make it 2:30

The most i can see this movie being is 2 hours and 30 mins

some guy on the sony spider-man3 blog said to grant curtis that he wants the movie to be 4 hours long and grant said, "do you really want to wait through a 4 hour movie?" 4 hours would be too much, it would have to be 3 hours at the most.

Exactly he said it would have to be 3 hours at the most, doesnt mean it will be though.

I am hoping the film is anywhere between 2hr 30min-3hrs long because i think that will be long enough to do the story and all the characters they are putting in the film this time. It will suck if the moving is around the same length as the first two because there is so much going on this time and we need it to be longer it will will be rushed and alot of people will hate it then.

the second movie was about 2 hours and 30 minutes long so i am guessing that is how long spidey3 will be if not longer.

The second movie was 2hrs./7mins.
i knew i was off....anyway 2 hours and 3 minutes would make spider-man3 20 minutes longer than spidey2 because spidey3 has more story and more battles.

2 schools of thought for this:

hitchcock believed no movie should be longer than the time it takes before going to the washroom.

the other school of thought is a movie should be as long as it takes to tell the story

2h and 30min would be a good runtime
