Spiderman Filming In My Neighborhood? (pics inside)

Discussion in 'Raimi's Spider-Man' started by SanFranTodd, Sep 26, 2005.

  1. A large neighborhood of San Francisco is shut down for movie filming - I snapped these pictures on the way home (the only ones I could get - everything seems very hush-hush). What else would a Daily Bugle truck be used for ?!?!

You're going to get in trouble if they find out you posted these pics on the net. But that being said, nice shots .

It's the same truck from the other spiderman films. See my post above with the truck pick. I justed googled "daily bugle truck" and voila! I didn't make up that newspaper I found it under Spiderman 3 googling images.

It would be funny watching PP and MJ cruising around in a Bugle truck, but I don't think JJJ will give one to Peter for stealing his son's fiancee

Which is exactly why I think in this movie JJJ will hate Peter but will still tolerate him at work because hes the only one who can get Spider-Man photos. But I would not be surprised if there was some heat between the 2.

Great pics SanFranTodd. Welcome to the Hype! Please post a follow up if possible. A pic of cameras, crew, signs etc would be nice too. :) I'll try and see what i can find out about this too.

This seems to confirm what Raimi and Franco have been saying in interviews:

It maybe. We'll have to wait and see. I remember when they shoy the train sequence for SM2 when the script wasn't even complete. This was months before principal photography even started. It gave the fx team a head start to create some cinema magic.

It's funny for weeks theres no real spidey news then BAM! 3 stories in the space of a few days.

Yeah I wouldn't be surprised if they have started filming Spidey cam stuff already. Tons of effects this time around!

He is thinking that it would be something seen in an X-Men movie as like an easter egg for Marvel fans.
