I think it has to do with the fact that Obama is supposedly a hellacious basketball player, and the Chameleon most likely is not...? Not sure. Anyway, i'm going to try and snag a copy.

Over on the Image Comics boards, Erik Larsen is pretty pissed that they basically ripped off an issue of Savage Dragon he did YEARS ago that did the exact same thing.

Of course, I think this whole thing is just a publicity stunt, and it is.

As for the "liberal vs. conservative" comments....let's not go there, guys. I lean towards the right, but I accept that we have a liberal president, and wish him the best of luck, even if I didn't vote for him. To those hoping he fails....you know his failing is bad for WE THE PEOPLE, right?

Because at the end of the day, everybody wants to "think" they are "right" and everybody else who "thinks" differently is "wrong".

That same attitude carries throughout numerous topics on these boards, not just politics. How many times have you seen someone get called "stupid" b/c they don't like a particular movie or a certain comic character, or don't think a particular celeb is all that hot?

I'm sure it won't be any big deal. A couple pages in the back. If you're not into it, don't read it. They are just doing this because it coincides with his inauguration and he's said he's a big Spidey fan. No harm no foul. Who cares?

I read that little Colbert backup, which was awful, and I wish I skipped it. End of the day, it won't make any difference.

No biggie guys, no biggie.
