World Spidey 3 Movie score on CD?

Anybody know when this is coming out? I haven't seen anything.

Why? It was pretty awful... You'd be better off with CD's of the first two movies, seeing as the only good parts from 3's score were the bits of Danny Elfman composed stuff randomly strewn about the film.

That's funny, I thought I asked when it's coming out, not an opinion. I have the other 2, I'd like to complete the collection.

Same here. I loved the Venom stuff, and that piece with Sandman rising from the pit for the first time was incredible. I'd LOVE to get that. Hit me up if you guys hear anything in the near future...

At first I thought the score was a little weird,but after seeing the film again,I loved it. I do love that Venom/symbiote theme! I'm anxious to get it myself. Personally,I love listening to the movie scores more than the soundtracks.

I thought the score was pretty great. It still had the Elfman stuff and some really nice new stuff by Young. AICN did a great SM3 music score review.

The funny thing is there are jewkweeds who have to pick on everything. There is no way that anyone came out of the movie and said, gee that score was awful. This was the most dynamic score of the 3. Not necessarily the best, but a really nice addition to the trilogy. It's spammers and idiots who jump on the anti SM3 bandwagon who claim they hate everything about it to act cool. Secretly, they loved it all.

Unfortunately, there is still no news on it's release.

Same here. alot of peeps said that there was nothing rememerble about the score but on second viewing i loved it, and i thought the switch of composer was probably greatly needed. I mean can you imagine the same cast and crew which they got 3 times round and then the composers imput which makes up 50% literally of any movie. That would of been to perfect especially considering how die hard fans got venom in this movie aswell which personally i think they should have saved him for the fourth feature.

I haven't been looking to buy the score, but I've been looking for the Venom/Symbiote theme all over the internet. No luck yet though. Grrrr!

I hope this CD comes out soon. While I like Elfman's stuff better, I want this CD to complete the set ... And I want Sandman's theme. The music for Sandman really stood out for me.

A score for Spidey 3 was better than the score for Spidey 2 by a long shot...Young actually created new music instead of rehashing every single line of music from Spidey 1 at the most inappropriate or similar scenes.

I'm still holding out hope that one day it will be released. I just wonder what the hell Young and Sony(or whomever)are fighting about?
