In case anyone is questioning this scene from the trailer....

He was able to wear it and remove it at will in the old comics post-Secret War....

Just something else the nitpickers can't complain about.

reason he could take if off being he wasn't that bonded to it. but as time goes by, the bond gets stronger, so he can't take it off unless it's weak, cue bell tower.

It'll make for some good scenes:
Peter sheds his costume and falls into bed, but the suit slowly crawls back and attaches to Peter in his sleep, He then wakes up in the middle of the night hanging from a web
classic

Yeah, the reason I posted this is because someone asked in another thread why he was able to remove it. Just wanted to clarify for others that may be wondering the same thing.

Yea there was some people saying that "he could not take it off in the comics" Glad you made this thread, because yes he could, but as he became more consumed it was harder to get off and became bonded to him.

It looks fine in the movie to me. Cool CGI for when it binds with him, and when he rips it off. Thats good enough.

I think he's still unaware of what the symbiote actually is. Maybe the symbiote is playing it cool and pretending just to merge with the suit, until Peter becomes comfortable with it and it slowly takes him over.

i believe u were talking about me asking about it, and thanks for these scans, i never knew this stuff, the only time i've experienced spidey in the symbiot was the 90's cartoon

Well done .

I hope symbiote won't be just suit, but a special material, which can do everything it wants.

So while Pete will be thinking that this is just a suit, it will start talking control on him.

once again, sam stays true to the comics, thats a good thing that he can remove the suit whenever he wants.

Well done, SBrooks1. I've been saying the same thing continuously since last night in the official trailer thread, but nobody seemed to listen. People kept shouting "why is he able to take it off?". The question is "Why WOULDN'T he be able to take it off?".

i think if it is stuck to him, then that is a reason why he realises he has to take it off

Well, at first Pete can remove it.

But when he becomes more evil and loses control under symbiote, it will stuck to him.

i defenitley agree with you, at first the symbiote is okay with peter, but then it wants to bond with him forever and become one.
