This is Spike Jonze's upcoming untitled project starring Joaquin Phoenix, Amy Adams, Samantha Morton with Rooney Mara in final negotiations to join. The only known details about the film is about a guy who falls in love with the voice of a computer.

It has been far too long since Jonze's latest film, so naturally I look forward to this film.

Spike Jonze? Say no more, I'm there. Bit confused though, will this be his next project or that political satire?

And all hail Megan Ellison.

Olivia Wilde Joins Spike Jonze's Untitled Film
Filmmaker Spike Jonze is apparently not content to just settle for the most talented cast in Hollywood to join his next film. Evidently he wants the most beautiful one as well. In a Deadline report about Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions landing international rights from for Jonze's next untitled project, the trade drops the little nugget of info that Olivia Wilde has also joined the cast.

Already starring Joaquin Phoenix, Rooney Mara, Amy Adams and Samantha Morton, the Jonze-pennd project apparently revolves around a man who falls in love with a Siri-like computer voice presumably on an iPhone device. The addition of Wilde makes the already-anticipated film all the more enticing.

I wish I could grow a mustache half as cool as Joaquin's

I thought WB would distribute the film in the US, and Sony would handle the international stuff.

You're probably thinking of the untitled Spike Jonze & Charlie Kaufman satire project which was picked up by Warner Brothers. Megan Ellison's Annapurna Pictures is producing this film and Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions has just acquired the international rights.

Official Title & Synopsis Revealed for Spike Jonze's New Film
In the not so distant future, Theodore (Joaquin Phoenix), a lonely writer purchases a newly developed operating system designed to meet the user’s every needs. To Theodore’s surprise, a romantic relationship develops between him and his operating system. This unconventional love story blends science fiction and romance in a sweet tale that explores the nature of love and the ways that technology isolates and connects us all.

According to The Film Stage that they have heard from their sources, the film will be called simply Her.

I'm curious as to who will voice the operating system. Anyway, this all sounds great and Jonze has assembled a very impressive cast; can't wait.

nice cinematography. and that has to be happiest-looking Joaquin ever.

The cinematographer is the one working with Nolan on Interstellar.

Reminds me a little of Lost in Translation.

Jonze knows how to shoot a film, I will always give him that.

I'll be honest: It looks heartbreaking! But in a good way, yo!

I usually don't take comments on youtube seriously bu this sums up the movie for me

I can watch Joaquin Phoenix in anything. That mother****er can ACT.

Yes he can.

BTW, the mod should change the name of this thread to 'Spike Jonze's 'Her'.

And bravo to WB for nabbing this and Paul Thomas Anderson's 'Inherent Vice'. Warner's got indie dramas on its mind!

Happy Joaquin scares me more than fake hobo-hip hop Joaquin.
