Spike Lee To Direct 'Oldboy' remake

I've seen most of summer of sam and get on the bus, can't remember any more off the top of my head.

I've seen all of Spike's movies.I just haven't seen Red Hook Summer yet.Spike can be really hit or miss, but I have hope for this movie.

Malcolm X is ****ing excellent.

My friends and I were watching it on Netflix, and right when he gets shot, after three and a half hours, it ****ing freezes on us. :cmad:

First poster.

Nice poster, and I like the descriptions from the Joblo article. All I'm going to say is, Damn if this movie really is more messed up than the Korean version.

Going by the comments in that review, I think the added twist in this version is that:

Brolin and Copley are related (half brothers maybe?) and Copley also had sex with Olsen.

Oh great. Because the original didn't
have enough incest.

25th Hour is brilliant. I highly recommend it.

I like those actually. Except the coffin one that looks too photoshop.

Okay, I didn't even know Samuel L. Jackson was going to be in this.

from the looks of the posters, it seems as messed up as the original one... I didn't think Hollywood would dare this kind of move.

I just noticed the 20 tally marks on the posters. I'm assuming they're upping the [BLACKOUT]amount of years[/BLACKOUT] the main character was [BLACKOUT]locked away[/BLACKOUT]. IIRC, in the original manga it was 10 years...in the 1st movie it was bumped to 15 (?) and here, it'll be 20 years?

coffin poster makes it look like a woody allen comedy good thing they didn't use that one
