Yet another Comic store conv.

The top three:

Make Thor a Skrull.

Combine the Ultimate and 616 Marvel Universes.

Divorce the Richards.

The above came from folk complaining about the current state of Marvel comics. As a first for me,.. I had NOTHING to really complain about as only one character wasn't "himself" and there were no real Power / canon issues for me to chew on for over three weeks.

Everyone agreed that if (really unlikely) Thor were exposed as a Skrull,... it would be THE deal breaker for them.

No one could decide what was going on with the Ultimate Universe,.. but a couple thought that it was all a wind up to combine it with 616 to "fix" a few things.

MEH.

On the Richards? EVERYTHING else has been done to them except infedelity, divorce and death.

Are you asking what decisions could Marvel make that would really piss me off

If they kill Mary Jane so that there is almost no chance of Spidey ever hooking back up with her.

Another irrelevant Varient thread.

Another irrelevant Varient thread.

Darth,.. You have issues.

Imagine a place where people come to TALK COMICS or COMIC RELATED TOPICS.

by definition: IF ANYTHING posted is on ANYTHING INVOLVING COMICS it is automatically RELEVENT.

Please get a grip and get off my jock in ref to whether or not any of "MY" threads were relevent,.. The "Becuase" (for example) threads were so revelent that they produced imitators,.. so that kinda sinks your opinion on "Varient" and underlines this as being a problem FOR YOU.

I don't really care so much as it wastes time if I decide to respond to the same tired dig you've been doing in ref to me.

Geez,... If I'm not causing social unrest on the boards along racial lines,.. I'm not posting "revelent" posts as far as you are concerned.

Not feeling you but I am wondering why you waste your time whining about whether I start the right kind of thread or not,...

"right kind" being Darth approved.

TSK.

Don't you have a life?

:meanie:

Do you?

Unless that involves *********ing to Squirrel Girl pics, I really don't know.

Seriously, crap that is being discussed at YOUR comic book store about things being discussed in RELEVANT threads, does need it's own "Varient messes up the spelling in the title!" thread.

1. We have two, TWO! Thor threads, and a Secret Invasion thread where that can be discussed.

2. This has been discussed literally, and I counted 147.93 times on here. It's not going to happen anytime soon, no point in discussing it.

3. It's more likely one of them dies then they would ever get divorced and unless you have some reason to think an upcoming storyline is going to involve a divorce, there's no point in discussing it.

So like I said, this thread is irrelevant. Close, merge, delete.

Yes,.. that would be a deal breaker for more than a few people,.. just like the deal with the devil was for some,...

Spiderman has had a few things happen in the last year or so that have been "deal breakers" with a lot of people.

I'm thinking there is a point where the Train-wreck" effect won't hold long-time fans.

Read yourself and understand your issue:
"It's not going to happen anytime soon, no point in discussing it."

So YOU determine what is worth discussing?

Check that "have a life" thing again please,... I can easily find two or three threads where you can shoehorn one of the three examples in as an aside,... and hundreds of "general threads" that discuss Spiderman, the FF, or Skrulls.

The point of the thread AS EXPLAINED in two posts so far are "DEAL BREAKERS."

GEEZ DARTH,.. GET A GRIP.

See, this wouldn't have happened if Varient wasn't making irrelevant threads.

Just reading that pissed me off. Thanks for ruining my ****ing day, Varient. :o

Glad to wake you this fine morning Corp.

We both know it's Very Unlikely - they'd have to dance fast to figure out a way to explain Don or bringing back Asgardians.

V.

I certainly hope so. Besides, I think JMS would go on a violent rampage through Marvel's offices.

Yes, and like always, your thread titles are so illogical, people have to call in a forensic expert to find some semblance of logic. Like your famous "Tanks" thread.

This thread is titled: "Spin on "What If" - What could Marvel do to ruin?". First of all, it's not grammatically correct. Second, To ruin what? It's like you just ended your thought there because you got hit with a brick. Third, what the **** is a deal breaker. If any of those things happens what are they going to do? Quit comics, start drinking, kill themselves? If you want people to be involved in your thread then make a direct question and not some vague explanation. Finally, you even admit all these things can be discussed in pertinent threads. Thor as Skrull had like 5 pages of discussion in the Secret Invasion thread!

Also, I doubt that you're having discussions with anyone at your comic shop, since I always imagine you as some creepy pervert looking guy breathing heavily in front of Vampirella comics anyway.

You are bored and looking for an arguement and I really can't be bothered.

But thanks for adding posts to a thread where two others are not having trouble understanding.

So what's different now from 5 minutes ago where you were arguing with me.

WOW! Two people in a forum with 25,000 members. Yes, you're a mother****ing success Varient.

Seriously, stop making irrelevant threads.

You know, arguing in this thread makes it more pointless than it originally was. What was meant to be a ***** fest about comics turned into a ***** fest between two *****es.

Dude, if Marvel made "Thor" a Skrull, I'd be thoroughly pissed. Of course, I'd rather not think of the "What Ifs" since we have enough trouble dealing with "What Is" in comics.

Do we really need to make up things to complain about? We've seriously got more than we need already.

Which is the point behind my *****ing, *****.
