Die Hard
Hans Gruber plummets to his death
Cyrano De Bergerac
As Cyrano dies, Roxane realizes that it was he, and not Christian, whom she had really loved all along.
The Shining
Jack kills Halloran with an axe. Jack freezes to death in the labyrinth
That was pretty cool indeed.I loved how inLive Free Or Die Hard McClane had to shoot himself to kill Olyphont. That was
Yeah, there were some good death scenes in that movie. Scorcese is really good, among other things, at death scenest:.The Departed
I dunno about best, but DiCaprio's is certainly the most shocking. I liked the way Ray Winstone goes out too.

Goodfellas
Pesci gets "made"
Casino
Pesci gets buried alive
Cape Fear
De Niro drowns, speaking in tongues
Saying those two in a row made me laugh.
YeahCady going out and drowning was great. And his last look before he went under completely. That dead stare at the family with just his eyes. It leaves in impression for nightmares for them.
Also the murders in Zodiac. All very well done. The Lake murder was the most unsettling.
The Exorcist

Saving Private Ryan
Watch the whole thing, or jump to 4:50.
Once Upon a Time in the West:
The Man with the Harmonica finally kills Frank for hanging his brother, and Frank dies with the knowledge he'll never be anything more than a thug despite trying the whole film to become a businessman.
