:csad: Rocky...not natural in Balboa?

Sylvester Stallone may be in trouble with Australia authorities over what is reported to be banned bodybuilding substances. The actor was in Sydney for the Australian opening of Rocky Balboa on Friday night, when he was stopped by customs officials after a routine X-ray detected something suspicious. The actor and his entourage were detained for several hours, causing them to miss the film's premiere, for packing what was believed to be a type of human growth hormone. On Monday officials searched his hotel room and private jet for illegal substances, just three days after seizing the banned substances at the airport. Richard Janeczko, the national investigations manager for the Australian Customs Service, told Sydney's Daily Telegraph, contraband items were seized, but refused to reveal any details. Stallone, 60, initially told the newspaper the incident was a "misunderstanding" and that reports of him transporting steroids were "totally hot air." When Australian officials arrived at the Park Hyatt hotel to issue the actor with a summons to answer charges on the prohibited substances, Stallone and his entourage were allegedly seen throwing things out the windows of their hotel room. According to the Telegraph, a search of the room allegedly resulted in additional evidence being seized. The actor was cleared to leave the country on Monday, but an investigation will continue. A spokesperson for the Customs Service adds, "There is a range of options we can pursue in these circumstances. The investigation is ongoing, and we are aware of Mr. Stallone's travel movements. The material has to be identified, and we have to look at all the options and the evidence before deciding what action to take." Penalties for possession of such items in Australia can range from fines up to $110,000 or up to five years in jail.

I mean seriously, as old and as jacked as he is its not a surprise whatsoever.

I guess, I still feel dissapointed though.

I am a big Stallone fan, and I guess you just don't want to think that people like that would use that s-hit.
Recreational drugs are one thing, but in a way these types of drugs are worse because it is like cheating people.

Well as all he is doing is portraying a role and not actually competing what he uses to look like he belongs to the role really makes not much of a difference at least to me.

At the end all he is harming is his own health.

True, it is disappointing but I can see it being true.

If steroids will make me look like that at 60, i'll be one steroid using mofo!

Guess I can throw my copy of "Sly Moves" away!

maybe it was his pudding

It was only HGH?

That's not bad at all. If done right very few side effects are possible.

The 'roids of the 21st century are nothing like the 'roids of the 70's and 80's.

Wowza. Silly man, shouldn't have tried to make another Rocky movie now that he's getting old :csad:

I don't see what the big deal is, doesn't disappoint me in the least. He is an actor not an athlete. If he wants to destroy his health or go to prison then that is his problem.

Yeah, I don't really see why he would serve time for something like that. It's not like he was actually competing with anyone.

It wouldn't be surprising though, considering he was bigger in Rocky Balboa than in any of the other movies.

Sounds like the HGH substance of choice for him is outlawed in Australia. All I can say is, if this is true, Stallone's a dumbass. It's very easy to get a doctor to write you a legitimate prescription for HGH or HCG, especially with his money. Why he did not do this to begin with is beyond me.

Eh, 60's past the point of needing your johnson, anyway.

But if it's a substance Stallone could have easily gotten prescribed, and it's not even for athletic purposes, I don't see the problem.

Yes, I was disappointed by the thread 'cause I don't think he's in "DeeEEEeP ####".
I thought he assaulted a movie reviewer or got his dog stoned or something.

Depends on what substances they caught him with and what Australia's laws are about that substance. I'd venture a guess that if they're going to let him leave the country it can't be TOO serious, though.

I'm not saying that beyond a doubt Sly is NOT taking steroids . . . but this story is on imdb.com . . . is that really so trustworthy?

Their news section is.

Not really, dude. IMDB is notorious for reporting false stuff. I'm not finding this particular story on any of the major or minor news outlets or even on any of the other movie rumor sites.

Well I'm gonna keep worshipping Stalone until I see this on CNN or something.
