Iron Man 2 Stan Lee Role revealed?

please dont give him dialoge.

Did you read that?

What's he going to do? Write down his questions on a pen and paper?

Perhaps he wont be [BLACKOUT]Larry Kinng[/BLACKOUT] exactly, but more a vague idea of the man. More like Burt Barlow (on the Simpsons) was a Rush Limbaugh type. I can see them playing it that way if its true.

That's what I was thinking too. Even if the article is on the right track, I still don't think he's going to be actually playing [blackout]Larry King[/blackout]. It's been done in the comics though, [blackout]King intervied Tony Stark in ULTIMATES[/blackout]. Also, 'Extremis' has been a source of inspiration for Favreau, and the John Pillinger (Pilger) character from that may have influenced this idea.

I think they might have got this stuff switched up, with him doing the Larry King bit in the game and in the movie him being a Senator(who doesn't speak).

I agree with dark_b, please don't give him dialogue.

On a side note, I hope Joe Simon lives long enough to see the Cap movie come out and possibly get to have his own Stan Lee moment.

I think it would be a cool cameo. Almost as cool as his Hew Hefner one!

Btw kedrell, who are these two women in your avatar and what's the name of the movie?

One's Olivia Munn and I have no idea about the other one. It was off some skit on AOTS.

i kind of like this idea of stan imitating other famous old guys.

As long as it's w/o dialogue, I'm ok with it.

i think Stark is gonna confuse him for Larry King.

i dont get whats wrong with him talking.

He's not an actor. His worst Stanmeo was in SM3. It was just so forced and obvious and that's one where he had more dialogue. Sorry, but I don't like getting taken out of the movie by that kind of stuff.

LOL!!! I suppose that if he interviews Stark he will get a lot of lines. Eh... how hard can it be to ask a few questions to a character you created?
i"Watchmen is the book that if I owned a hotel I'd say to hell with bibles man I'd make sure each room had a copy of that bad boy in a dresser drawer." My English Comp Teacher
Your English Comp Teacher is awesome!

W/O disrupting the delicate and balanced tone a film like this is trying to set and maintain? It can be very hard, actually. That's why they use trained actors.

Stan Lee as Larry King sounds cool but I hope it's not toooo long.

Sorry if this offends you, but you must have a really fragile suspension of disbelief if that just takes you out of the movie.

Also, the Spider-Man 3 Stan cameo is the best of them all, because of his dialogue.

Suspension of disbelief IS a fragile thing. Period.

And YOU may like the SM3 cameo but the vast majority of all the comments about it I've heard were negative, and I agree w/ them. His cameo's in the first two Spidey films were much better. He was part of the landscape there, and didn't inject himself into the story in a blatant and obvious way.
