Hey fellas,

I remember a making of Hulk movie back for the 2003 film, and inside there was a short column with pictures of a Hulk movie that was originally being made before the 2003 version, and it had an animatronic HULK and I want to say Stan Winston was working on it. I remember seeing a picture, and in the movie I think he was going to be a grey color based off the picture. But there was a whole article in the book about it and now I can't find it. If anyone has any information on the exact book, article, pictures, the movie, etc. That would be much appreciated. I thought I remember reading it got canceled because of the cost.

I remember hearing about it as well, but with his recent passing, it's almost impossible to search the intrawebs for Winston stuff without getting past his obit.

I saw the design of the HULK in that book I'm talking about.

Yup actually I found a copy of the script back when. It was supposed to be directed by Jonathan Hensleigh (Punisher) who also penned the script. (He wrote Armageddon also).

It wasnt that great of a script. It had Banner, almost like the Ultimate version, very Steve Buscemi-ish. But anyways they decide, before testing out gamma rays on Banner to ship off 3 death row convicts up to space to tecnically obsorb some gamma radiation. Well the convicts of course get gamma radiated but each one comes back as a different type of insect.

A wasp, ant, and the third one is escaping me at this time.

Well the movie was a mess and Banner becomes the Hulk of course while trying to cure these convicts. They escape, Banner feels responsible and uses the Hulk to capture them and stop them. I dont remember much off the top of my head except the final fight is on the Golden Gate Bridge with the Wasp character.
