Starcraft, along with Red Alert, is one of the old games that I will never ever get rid of. Gotta love 'em

I'm playing StarCraft regularly lately, and I'm going to be replaying the campaign pretty soon. I was actually playing last night and there were over 100 thousand people just playing Brood War. I love the game a ton. It's just so immersive and well built that it's practically timeless.

Which reminds me I should head out and buy all the books.

I'm thinking of getting this game for my friend's dad. His birthday is coming up and he loves strategy games. His computer is pretty old. Anyone think this game doesn't stand the test of time?
