Star Sapphire/Carol Ferris Casting Suggestions?

Any ideas who could play the deadly vixen known as Star Sapphire, AKA: Carol Ferris?

Off the top of my head I guess I'd say Jennifer Connelly. What say you?

Shannyn Sossamon... people keep recommending her for Catwoman. But the only girl I would love to see play that feline fatale is Scarlett Johannson. But Sossamon would make for a great Sapphire/Ferris. And as her fellow anatagonist (Sinestro).... John Malkovich, pitted against our ring-wearing protagonist played by Ian Somerhalder.
