I hope Michael Giacchino comes back I loved his music for the last 2

I wish, when they use the classic Star Trek theme, that they would use the full version of it from the end credits of each episode instead of the theme from the beginning of the episode.

There's this bit from about 0:11 to about 0.22 in the theme which I always loved, which is like an extra verse, and we never get that in the film.

I was the previous thread- I do hope Alice Eve is apart of this. I won't worry yet though.

probably fan made

Assuming Elba is playing the villain which I am sure he will be and if he is then I say that's great because I am sure he will make one great villain but if anything Cumberbatch should have been brought back for Star Trek 3 considering his character of Khan didn't even die in Into Darkness his character was just frozen again

Ugh. I don't want to see more of Khan again. Do Star Trek only have one villain and one idea out of all these Trek shows and aliens?

But Idris Elba as the villain this time around I wonder if he will be playing a Klingon or a human villain somehow

Justin Lin said the movie focuses on a NEW civilzation. So human and klingon villains are unlikely

Good. I am glad about this. So far they're saying the right things. Now I just hope to see more Star Trek-iness featured. I like the rock and roll, but I want the more focused cerebral nature back too.

cerebral sci-fi sadly doesn't sell tickets. not enough to warrant more sequels. rock and roll does.
also, I believe, hollywood writers get dumber every year.even if they tried to do something cerebral, the best they could come up with is stuff like Inception

I'm fine with them moving on from Khan. I mean they could always return to his storyline in a future movie. Personally I didn't like them using him to begin with. Cumberbatch did a fine job but he didn't feel like Khan to me.

It never has. 2001 or STAR TREK:TMP would never have sold tickets if they hadn't been impressive, for their day, visual feasts.

Great cause, and great ending to the video! Only only does [BLACKOUT]Idris Elba show up, then he also break dances![/BLACKOUT]

BTW, I couldn't help it but to go 'WOW' when I saw Yelkin's hairline. It's receding FAST.

That was awesome. Chris 'Thundernuts' Pine looks a lot skinnier this time around... usually he puts on weight for the role.

Glad to hear Giacchino is returning. Love is Star Trek music.
