The Force Awakens Star Wars 8 Casting Call for Extras

"Star Wars: Episode VIII" is now casting extras, featured background performers, photo-doubles, and stand-ins. Shooting is getting underway at the Pinewood Studios in London, England. Day-player speaking roles are also being cast throughout shooting. Directors Guild of America DGA Award winner Rian Johnson is directing "Star Wars: Episode VIII" from a screenplay that he wrote himself. Eight-time Academy Award nominee Kathleen Kennedy is overseeing production for Lucasfilm.
