^^^ :funny: That one was £133.

This is a pretty cool piece.

I also wish I could get the piece below exactly like that rather than with all the excess stuff.

Whoah, awesome looking statue's! Love the Boba Fett, and Obi-Wan one's. I need a better look at the Vader one, but it looks interesting.

Cool art Fives, Vader and the Lost Command looks badass and is that a new Qui-Gon book?

Couple of more reveals from the comic con floor.

When Maul came out at 18 inches, I figured they'd all be in the size frame, but it is surprising given the fact that the PF's aren't much bigger.

Sith fashion, ruling the Galaxy like a sci fi Gucci and Armani lovechild! :D

Ugly-Wan Kenobi! :funny: Was the sculpt on the bust any better? I just don't get why GG didn't go through with the awesome sculpt on the prototype, it's like they purposely shot themselves in the foot.

Awesome statue pics Hunter. I really like that Shak Ti one, and the Clone Wars Maul one looks crazy detailed. Also those Qui-Gon covers were from a mini-series that finished I want to say last year. It's out in tpb though.

Here's some awesome new SW comic book news. Author Brian Wood(a really good comic writer) will helm an On-Going SW comic set inbetween Episodes IV, and V. Here's his first interview about it, and it'll have covers by Alex Ross.

I'm interested. As someone who hasn't delved too deeply into the expanded universe, something like this sounds appealing. Not too much canon to weigh it all down. Just A New Hope exists, and nothing else.

And a good writer to boot.

The face in that Vader statue doesn't seem to resemble Shaw or Christensen. Unless it's supposed be a more aged version of Hayden maybe?

Either way I really dig it but weathered Obi-Wan may just be the one to take the cake. Although I have to say I really like the lighting illusion they did with the fire/magma around Vader's cape and helmet that's really neat.

That Obi-Wan statue is gorgeous, but this bust of Dark Helmet needs to look more like Rick Moranis. :oldrazz:

I think it's meant to be an aged Hayden, in the same way Obi-Wan is a mix of Ewan and Sir Alec.

The two just look incredible and I agree with you about the effects on the Vader staue, it just creates and epic image of movement while being still lol.

    I like.

I think this will definitely be good. Brian Wood is a good writer, and he seems to have a good handle on how he's approaching this SW on-going. I know some books/comic books have covered this, but I don't think it's really been that fleshed out, so this should be good. I'm excited about this book, and can't wait to hear more about it.

This looks awesome! I always thought the Sand Trooper's on the Dew Backs were cool. I really like the animated look as well.
Man, this looks great! The detail is really good. I hope they explore this period of Kenobi's life more in the future.
That Vader statue is great. The detail is good too, and I can just imagine the story for it. His helmet looks a little too big, but aside from that, it looks great.

Thanks for the info on this btw, I missed it intially in my rush to post the pics from SDCC lol. A story set bewtween ANH and ESB is very much the type that I want to read.

Me too, Gentle Giant have been crushed by Sideshow this year but the 2 animated maquettes are great.

Hopefully Lucas and co are thinking the same, it's a period quite a few artists have drawn from.

I think it's the camera angle that makes the helmet look too big, in the pic below it looks proportionate to the rest of Vader.
