That and Hayden's facial expression was off putting. Instead of having a sentimental look, he looks like a creeper.

:funny:

So true! *sigh* I want the untouched versions on Blu-ray so bad.

The thing I want gone the most is Hayden's ghost.

Alright that made me crack up. :lmao:

I don't mind Hayden being there because I get the whole "Anakin died when he turned to the dark side" side of the coin and it works for me but that's legitimately hilarious. Good stuff.

hayden does really bother me being there. when i heard that it was yoda and obi wan using there powers to bring him there i was fine with it. I mean these were two guys that were pretty much bringing up Luke to kill this guy. It adds a sense of closure to me in the end

Hayden bothers me being in any of these movies at all, so needless to say, yeah him being inserted into Jedi bothers me.

I bought the original trilogy on Blu ray and for the most part I enjou them but get taken out the movie every time there is an 'enhanced scene'.
I have the original threatrical cut on DVD but as they haven't been cleaned up they are pretty much unwatchable.

Latest name on the Star Wars grapevine is Matthew Vaughn.
I could live with that. Stardust, Kickass, X:FC. Loved all three movies and kinda liked Layer cake (or should that be Leia Cake ;) )

I want the theatrical cuts but I really do like the digitally re composited visual effects shots and that they got rid of technical flubs and visual continuity problems.

The dusk sequence where Luke is looking for Artoo with his binoculars, there is a blue dusk sky in the sequence, and then changes to another shot where there's a red sunset sky, then to another angel and the sky is back to blue.
ILM removed the vaseline that was all over lens in a driving into Mos Eisley shot.
The reveal of the throne room at the end of the movie, the officers standing left and right of the scene are now digitally composited extras instead of a hand painted matte painting of officers.

Someone over at this site asked John Williams about scoring Episode VII.

I could care less about them releasing the original untouched OT. There, i said it lol. I know i wont even watch them, so why would i buy them? For the most part, i prefer the SE. And i watched the OT on the big screen back in the day, so go figure hahaha :oldrazz:

oh yeah, of course. EVERYBODY involved with the OT is going to express interest. hehe I don't think we'll see too many characters from the old films.

he cameod in ROTS so he could well feature briefly as a nice nod - doubt he would return as Boba Fett though

I just hope they do something a kin to Dark Empire, and close up the immortality theme of the overall story. Prequels, Jedi get immortality (their version), OT the Jedi end the Sith, New Trilogy, Sith get their version of immortality (in Dark Empire, the emperor was able to jump into clone bodies of himself). Other things I liked about the DE series, were that the Rebel Alliance wasn't really in a position to take over rule of the Galaxy, and after Thrawn came along, the New Republic crumbled into a galaxy wide civil war.

That would make me happy. I was a little unhappy that the focus on immortality, that was present in the prerelease script for ROTS did not play as prominently in the film, it was barely mentioned. But I hope this is the unifying theme that connects all three sagas.

Nathan Fillion as an ex-imperial. Imperials not looked upon fondly by other worlds...he spends most of his time drunk or doing odd-jobs like smuggling to make ends meet.

Nah, who'd buy such a crazy idea?

That would be really cool, throw in Ben Browder as his partner/pilot and you are golden :woot:

If they get the "Big 3" to sign on? I'll be officially hyped.

Until then? All this EPVII talk is has exciting to me as the (presumable) JL movie…which isn't much.

Call me when they get a director...

I don't know if you guys heard this, but...

Star Wars: The Clone Wars has had several great guest stars over the years known for iconic roles in other popular genre franchises, including George Takei, Simon Pegg and Katee Sackhoff. But for the first time, a Doctor is coming to the series, as none other than David Tennant appears on this coming Saturday’s “A Test of Strength.”

The episode continues the story arc begun last week, as a group of young Jedi set out to build their first lightsabers. The former Doctor Who star will voice Huyang, a droid who is a crucial part of this journey.

This was all set in motion when The Clone Wars' supervising director, Dave Filoni, discovered the joys of Doctor Who. As Filoni explained to IGN, “My wife was the one who got me watching Doctor Who and I am really glad she did. I remember thinking that the series (Doctor Who) had many of the same production challenges that we do on The Clone Wars - creating galactic scale adventures and planets with strange life forms.”

When it came to getting Tennant to appear on The Clone Wars, Filoni remarked, “As a fan that has the privilege of playing in the Star Wars galaxy, I am always on the lookout for others who appreciate, and would enjoy, an opportunity to go on an adventure in George’s galaxy far, far away. When I heard the Doctor himself, David Tennant, was a fan of Star Wars I knew I had to find a way to get in contact with him to see if he would perform on The Clone Wars. The result was ‘Huyang,’ an ancient droid in the service of the Jedi Order, whose sole task in life has been overseeing the construction of lightsabers. I thought David was perfect for the part and he did not disappoint. He delivered a performance which impressed even the Master himself, George Lucas.”

Star Wars: The Clone Wars - “A Test of Strength" airs Saturday, November 10th at 9:30am on Cartoon Network.

I was living in a cave for a month so excuse me for my WHATTT!!!! I come back to Lucasfilm being bought by Disney no less who is the evil empire. I kid about the evil empire part but seriousily it seems like they own everything in entertainment. Star Wars VII sounds exciting little nervous at the same time. I'm gonna miss George being there at the head caring so deeply about this property but will what will be will be.

Here's part two of the video with Lucas and Kennedy
