Not even close. The Star Wars prequels are, on the whole, dreadful. The recent Star Trek films are great.

Trek wins this easily, and I'm a Star Wars fan, not a Trekie.

The Trek movies, I enjoy the hell out of those and I'm not really a Star Trek person. Even with Darkness' mediocre script, I enjoy watching it. I can't say the same about the Star Wars Prequels, which are...well, it's been gone over and at this point it'd be beating the skeleton of the dead horse.

Star Trek. Overall better films.

The lightsaber battles are much more rewatchable then anything in the Star Trek films for me though. Alot of entertainment value there. So in a way I guess I prefer the prequels even though Star Trek has the better overall filmmaking. I've definitely watched the prequels more then any Star Trek. Don't really see that changing in the future to be honest.

To me it was more painful to watch STID than any of prequels (yea, I'm one of those who consider STID being the worst ST film). The 2009 ST was much better, but some parts of prequels were good too. It's not that black and white with prequels as many people say, imo. I enjoyed some bits of Ep. II and III a lot I think, but it's somewhat a long time when I watched those films, maybe I'd find them much worse now, dunno.

ST reboot continuity >>>>>>>>> SW prequel trilogy.

I say that even though I hate Star Trek Into Darkness about 2/3 through.

Star Trek.

I'm one of the few that liked Into Darkness better than the first film.

The new movies are the only thing about Star Trek that I like, and I can't get into the shows. I'm a Star Wars man. Also, I liked Into Darkness more than the first movie.

Not going with the boring prequels (save for episode 3).
Star Trek all the way.

I am not someone who hates the prequels, I actually enjoy them, but the two more recent Trek movies have been far superior.

For me, there's no question. The ST reboot films are SO MUCH better in pretty much every way. Better shot, better directed, better acted, better effects, better paced, etc. Seriously, it's not even close.

The two Star Trek films are the two best Star Wars movies in 25 years. Hopefully TFA changes that.

This. JJ Abrams's Star Trek films felt more like Star Wars than the prequels.

Even with Into Darkness being one of the biggest disappointments this decade film-wise, I still prefer it to any of the prequels.

I'll take Nemesis over the prequels.

The prequels should be named the wasted potential trilogy.

Same, I like Star Trek but Star Wars always will be number 1 for me. But I loved the Star Trek reboots, I do love Into Darkness I know it gets a lot of flack but whatever.
