Premise of RPG:

In this RPG, posters will be able to play as either their favorite SW character, from the movies or the Expanded Universe, or create one of their own.
The premise of the RPG is kept simple on purpose in order to encourage creative role-playing and ideas. If you've read the EU, forget it all. Here we forge our own path in our favorite Galaxy Far, Far, Away.
You're only limit is your imagination.
Other than that, standard RPG rules apply.
What will this RPG bring to the RPG forums: Hopefully, a Star Wars RPG that can last. As well as give the Basement a much needed sci-fi game.
Title of the RPG you would like to propose: Star Wars: The RPG
With each season being given an Episode number (starting with VII since it takes place after the original trilogy), along with it's own title which will be decided at the end of the previous season.

STAR WARS: EPISODE VII -
A new day has dawned for a once dark galaxy.
It has been five years since the Empire's defeat at the BATTLE OF ENDOR, and, with the Emperor dead, they have become leaderless and divided...a scattered REMNANT of it's former glory. As the Imperials quarrel amongst themselves and carve out their own fifdoms among the stars, the NEW REPUBLIC continues to grow as it attempts to bring the galaxy together in a democratic new order.
But, it is easier said than done.
Many systems and planets, having suffered through years of oppression under the Emperor's iron hand, are hesitant to join this New Republic. LEIA ORGANA, the acting Minister of State, is tasked with convincing these worlds to join the New Republic, and usher in a new age of freedom and peace to the entire galaxy.
Meanwhile, with the blessings of Head of State Mom Mothma, LUKE SKYWALKER has begun preparations to begin training a new order of Jedi knights in the ways of the Force. To meet this end, Master Skywalker has begun to transform the ancient Massassi temple on Yavin IV into the first Jedi Praxeum the galaxy has seen in decades.
But under the veil of hope lies hidden dangers.
The Imperial Remnant, though scattered, is still a major threat to galactic peace.
The Sith, seemingly defeated with the death of Palpatine and the redemtion of Vader, still loom like a dark cloud over the New Jedi Order, as they attempt to restore their name throughout the entire galaxy.
With the Empire fractured, the Hutts and other crime syndicates have begun to work their hands into many new worlds, expanding their shady dealings and growing in power and threat.
Can the fledgling Republic survive the hurdles and multitude of dangers it will surely face, or will it collapse into ruin?
Only time will tell...
