Star Wars: The Force Unleashed

So I saw the Force Unleashed Graphic novel today, read the final few pages, so I know what happens now. Who wants to know?!

After turning to the light side, Starkiller allies himself with this Rahm Kota guy and from the looks of it overpowers Vadar. The Emporer rises and attacks Kota with lightning, which Starkiller jumps in front of to save Kota, killing him while Kota escapes.

There are multiple endings then? Well that one sounds like the canon one I guess.

That's good to know then. I'm looking forward to the story in the game more than anything methinks.

I downloaded the demo. Got about halfway through it and turned it off. Gameplay is just so meh. I got incredibly bored within the first 4 minutes of it, which isn't a good thing.

One thing that I wish was in, is the ability to slam stormtroopers around while force grabbing them. That's one of the more fun things to do in Destroy All Humans, just slam a guy/girl up and down into the pavement. In ****, slamming them into things doesn't have much effect.

it does, ive killed a trooper by doing that to them.

and at first i read the **** in your post as shut the **** up and was like huh? lol

I hope i get my new 360 by the time this comes out we just got 3 Lights O' Death yesterday, and me and my bro are pissed.

I got the demo, and I enjoyed it alot. I guess because it reminded me alot of a game from back in 04 called Psy-Ops.

I don't know the Star Wars Universe all that well, but isn't there suppose to be a force choke in there as well?? Or do we not learn it til later.

Demos fun, can't wait to pick this one up.

If it does, it's not the slam that it should be. I tried and didn't notice much of an impact.

However, raising troopers as high as possible and then letting go, watching them smash into the ground is pretty fun.

SWTFU, Star Wars The **** Up!

Unfortunately the apprentice doesn't have Force chocke in the 360/PS3 versions. However, you get to play as Vader in the prologue mission and he does.

Too bad his Sith Lord costume isn't in the game (not to my understanding at least) it looks beautifully evil.

Now, I heard something about finding, or unlocking Lightsaber crystals. Is that to make a different Lightsaber, or just something to go looking for in the game?

Eh his black, hooded sith cloak costume is in the game and I for one can't wait to play in it.

well to be fair your right, it dosent have the impact it should but it does damage them.

i love picking people up then throwing my lightsabre into them lol so fun

The more I play the demo, the more i love it :woot:

oh and i'm sorry...but i don't see how anyone can be having a hard time with the controls. the force grab isn't hard to learn to use if you paid attention to the tutorial on it.

I can see why this game is getting rated 7's, going by the demo its completely average, at best. Pity, could have been an awesome game, sith, force powers, lightsabre, Vader's secret apprentice....

Tutorials? People actually use those? I just always jump right into action!

Well, I did some reading, and as it turns out, his Sith Lord costume (which is a figure made by hasbro) IS infact in the game, except it's called "Ultimate Evil."

So the different name kinda veered me off course, but it's in the game, that is one costume I can't wait to play as.

Alot of complaints, i dont understand, is there a better Star wars Jedi/Sith game out there people are comparing this to? I really enjoy it, I'm just trying to understand why so many people are down on it. Was this supposed to be some Uber-game or something?

This was supposed to be the quintessential star wars game of all time and now apparently it will be mediocre according to a few early reviews.

Storywise, Knights of the Old Republic is better.

Gameplay-wise, the only thing I've come as close to having as much fun with is Jedi Knight II.
