Stargate SG1: The Alliance did, as far as I know Worlds is still going ahead:

I dont think i'll be getting it though, the videos I watched didnt give me the feel of Stargate much at all. I think i'll go with the Star Trek MMO instead.

Oh, right, The Alliance got canceled. I knew there was a Stargate game that got canceled.

It's a shame.... my brother and i believe Stargate could make a great Rainbow Six/GRAW type game

I can see it easily. The protagonists of SG-1 and SGA are well-oiled military units. Throw some Goa'uld or Wraith in instead of terrorists and it'd be solid.

Nice, put the minorities on the outside so it's easier to off them

I really don't see Ming Na or Lou Diamond Phillips lasting that long.

They'll probably go out with a literal bang(like Carson) to hit home that this series is "gritty"

Well, we know some people are dying. We got those teary-eyed lines about someone watching another person die in the trailer.

On an unrelated note, I kind of miss the real military uniforms. I understand they want the shows to look distinctive, but it seems odd that Air Force personnel would get special uniforms for the Universe mission. Although, I guess the oversight committee could be rearing its ugly head again there.

BTW I don't think Stargate has ever played up the sex angle this heavily.

Not that heavily (if the trailer's any indication), but it's cropped up from time to time. If they're dealing with ongoing relationships, though, I think it could be good for the series. Stargate tended to take the Captain Kirk approach to sex: one of the characters would have a romance for, like, that one episode or an ongoing relationship/attraction would just be back-burnered and never amount to much.

I kind of hope they don't have a long-term alien member right from the start. If it becomes a standard thing, it sort of feels like the Earthlings are just taking in strays.
