So-called "artist's impression" over at the Don Murphy forum.

If it's real - what do you think?

We also have this floating around as well (fan colored)

Thats just bada$$ right there ( I would tweak it slightly -head- but I like this one a lot)

It actually reminds me a ton of TFTM: Scourge, the one I posted (who is among my all time favorite characters). However if they gave him a normal head that design would rock...I mean he is f---ing scary, and he looks like a threatening menacing character as well.

Question:

If you were a member of an evil race of alien robots crash landed on earth, and you wanted to cause some chaos, destruction and war-mongering, would you adopt the shape and form of the native beings of that planet?

I personally would take on a form that was menacing, one that would strike fear into the puny humans. Something monstrous and evil, but would still enable me to be able to adapt to the Earth's varied environment and gravity.

This design certainly fits that description.

I doubt seriously you'd take a form at all that wasn't your own...but if you had to I would assume it would look something that one I posted.

If by bad ass you just mean ass then yes. I agree.
It looks like a gorilla FSS. And i cant see how that thing would transform into a jet. And heres me thinking they are going more realistic? Doh!

Anyone, its not real. Murphy dismissed it as fan art and even told us to "chill with this ****".

Thank god. That...was just horrible looking.

I don't think this would ever actually be Starscream...heh...
I know it's been said it's fake, and I'm frankly happy.

Venom4life's post... Disco Starscream.
The 70's disco influence in his colors and garnishes is obvious (arrows in his boots, disco bulbs in the jet intakes on the side of his face).

And of course, the pose.

I think he was posting that for the sake of Starscream's body design...not the colors and pose.

Not keen on that look at all,i doubt they will go for the more colourful Starscream posted earlier but i could see this being used

I agree...

I believe Starscream will be mostly grey or silver or silver-blue with darker blue accents on his robot parts. Maybe just a few small bits of red here and there for recognition purposes (such as around his neck or arms).

That would fit in with him being the Stealth plane they are using,the red parts could be infrared controls from the cockpit

well...they DID say the robots would look clunkier and more rigid than we're used to...

...if they made it a bit more streamlined (give him a better head) then i think it might actually end up looking cool.

Well, I just posted G1 Starscream art that appeared on the box which contained the action figure of Starscream from back in the day from 1984 I believe.

WalkingDead, that is the exact reason I posted it. Thanks for seeing that, as well. :)

Regardless;

I wouldn't use that Starscream, less colors would be a good thing. If you ask me, i'd rather him just be the color of the jet form he uses, for the movie. Was it an f-22 raptor?

However, I dig this version;

I do not agree... come on... if a large plane landed in front of you, then transformed into a huge robot with guns from his arms and pointed them right at you, dont you think that is menacing enough?

I hope that they do not screw with the characters looks too much. I want to see them portrayed as close to the original as possible. Already upset that Bumblebee is going to be a Camaro... dam them!
