Artists were probably stoned or on acid. :o

Quite honestly she had looks bordering a tranny or a hag on the very tail end. :o

Fantomas

I dunno about the comics, but I've been meaning to read the original stories for years. It sounds seriously cool.
I love stories that aren't afraid to make the bad guy the protagonist.

Plus, he's the grandfather of Phantom Limb from Venture Bros. which automatically makes him worth paying attention to, I think. :hehe:

Way before I was well more familiar with comics I always thought he was Phantom Stranger or associated with him. Anyway, he seems like a good character to read more of.

Totally. I really want the Penguin Classics collection of the original stories on Amazon, but I'm not allowing myself til I finish what I already have on my reading shelf.

I don't want to get book-greedy :hehe:

Speaking of which, I'm going through that phase with Marvel Masterworks books. :O

Yeah, Phantom Limbs dad's cool. Almost makes me wanna learn French.

He's one of the characters that I actually cared about in the Prequels & was saddened when he was killed off towards the end of the Phantom Menace. The only gripe I had was, why the heck was he hell bent on training a boy that could be or rather was a potential danger to the Jedi Order & it's eventual downfall??!!

Did he know that? Hindsight and all.

Also, technically, he did save the galaxy. Eventually. Just took him a few decades, a bunch of dead younglings, Jedi, and countless rebels. :o

I don't think he knew. It's been quite a while since I've seen it though, so I can't be sure.

Anyway, casting Liam Neeson as a Jedi was one of Lucas' smarter prequel decisions. Even if was only in one, and Jar Jar turned up in all three...

Maybe, but he should've listened to the countless people that advised him otherwise like Kenobi, Windu, & Yoda.

Qui is cool! him and Ian seemed to be the only actors taking that cardboard crappy script stuff they had to deal with serious!(those are good actors right there!) Only i agree with Duke for being "one with the force!" dude was kinda dense in the "oh! he will rise up and slay us all dept!" He must've been too busy worrying about" mitcholrines count!" Hahahahaha!:woot:

Know what bothered me about Qui-Gon? The completely pointless scene in Revenge when it looked like he was gonna make a surpise cameo, and then... nothing!
Remember?
It was at the end when Yoda says to Obi Wan that he'd been talking to him from beyond the grave. Obi Wan even says, "Qui-Gon?!" then the scene just ends....

Yeah, he should've just appeared in ghost form or at least voiced something.

Although, I suppose she's a Marvel character aswell now... or has she moved permanently? Eh, I can't keep track of this ****... :hehe:

I initially had seen her in Spawn comics & according to Wikipedia she's been bought by Marvel. Never have read her extensively though, seems like an OK character.

Oh, so Marvel have exclusive rights to her now then? Cool, I wonder if that's the first time a successful comics character has moved from one universe to another... "Proper" characters, I mean. Not random crap like that Access dude from the '90s...
