State Your Opinion on A DC Character - Part 2

I get the feeling he did it just because she has a vagina or......space vagina whatever her race has.

Maaaaad creepy. Miri's the only one who seemed like a logical person. The others are all apparently poster girls (almost said "poster children" before recalling that, according to Johns' emo-spectrum, only women are capable of love) for the various forms of neuroses and outright insanity that love at its worst can engender. They're the rapiest corps in all the rainbow.

So what does that say about the fact that Wonder Woman was once a SS?

That she has a vagina, according to Geoff Johns. Plus, I guess she is motivated by love a lot. She seems to love everyone by default, but not in a sexual way, which makes her one of the few non-rapey Star Sapphires.

Well, that's it for the Sapphires.

Love em or hate em, you gotta admit, they gots awesome boobs.

The Blue Lantern Corps

wow ! i am all for a corp of Gandhis! This world could so use more peace and non-violent resistance,( MLK taught me that too), but unfortunately and at the start of this thread. That &^$(* aint going to happen and especially in a god*&^% comic book! a genre built on kicking the holy crap outta bad guys!!!! Come on! i mean i could see galactus showing up and these dudes chanting about "give peace a chance" and the next thing they are in his upper intestines!though i applaud their motives.they are mostly lame and towards the suck-o meter! i liked saint walker.i really did!. but sorry bro! sometimes you gotta make a big ole boxing glove and hit em right upside their melon with it!Sucks!

.......oh and i agree about the *SS had some awesome mammary glands!

* not to be confuse with der fuehrer ones
!

"Hope... is irrational." ~ Huey Freeman

That's all I have to say about them.

I like Saint Walker (He's all the cooler because when I read his lines I hear NPH's voice in my head) and Ganthet. The elephant guy looks cool.... That's all I have to say about that.

I like the Blues. I like how they're the only conceptually coherent Corps in the emo-spectrum. The fact that they are powerless themselves but can supercharge Green Lanterns' powers is a clever expression of the futility of hope all on its own. The fact that there's only like 4 of them reflects the idea that hope is fleeting and precious, too. They can't just have boatloads of casualties like the other Corps in every event. It all just fits together really well with them (overly religious appearances notwithstanding).

That said, have any of them besides Saint Walker ever done anything?

They have potential, but I expect them to all get slaughtered in some stupid crossover to prove the bad guys "REALLY MEAN BUSINESS THIS TIME!!"

I love the blue lanterns after the orange they are my favorite new lantern corp

They're an alright concept, but they're tainted for me by their association with the emotional spectrum, which is still one of the dumbest and most unnecessary additions to any comic book mythos ever.

The Blue Lantern Corps are lovely :)

They are one of my favourite Lantern corps right now

I think you mean the rape-bow :o

I prefer the Blue Corps to Green now, so whatever. After Sinestro Corps War, Saint Walker is the best part of Geoff Johns GL run.

Well, that's it for the Blue dudes. Keep Hope alive and all that. :o

.....best I could do.

The Indigo Tribe

Me either, that's why they get half a round. :o

Lots of Corps to to get to. Just felt obligated to give people a chance to speak their mind on them.

I'm expecting a cacophony of Mehs.

Well, we do now know that the guy who looks like he's trying to slip in for a stealth-taffy behind Indigo is named "Munk." And their power is apparently to mimic other Corps' powers. And... that's about it.

I think I heard that they like to put people out of their misery and s**t.

Really? I haven't found any consistent thread of any kind of compassion in their appearances, personally. They seem more like they're interested in maintaining some mysterious balance that only they know about. They show up without warning when the universe is in chaos and basically hand the GLC the answer in Blackest Night, and since then they've just sort of wandered around doing a lot of nothing in particular. I don't know how any of that relates to compassion.

Tor lorek san, bor nakka mur, Natromo faan tornek wot ur. Ter Lantern ker lo Abin Sur,Taan lek lek nok--Formorrow Sur!

I like Black Hand....

The next arc in Green Lantern is about them, so I guess I'll have a better opinion after that.

No opinion except I like Power Rangers better than Geoff Johns' rainbow corps stuff.
