I think Skyfall is great. There are stupid moments but I liked the characters and the story is more personal. It's not about the end of the world. It's basically a renege film.

Plus I thought the homages to classic Bond were done tastefully. And yea Deakins work is astonishing. How the guy hasn't got an Oscar yet is beyond reason.

For me Casino Royale and Skyfall are even.

I don't think x-men wolverine origins is as bad as some people make it out to be. It's not good, but it's far from being one of the worst comicbook movies. It's actually pretty entertaining at points.

Hell, it's still better than the two DC movies that came out last year.

Well-deserved, if so.
I disagree. Skyfall is a well packed story, giving 007 a proper villain origin and entertaining smokes & mirrors, then introducing a creepy dark mirrored version for an antagonist.

Deathly Hallows 1 was better than Deathly Hallows 2
Voldermort is one of the worst fantasy villains I've ever seen.
Michael Jackson was an above average actor.

He was great in the books. I agree that he was bad in the movies though.

He was genuinely scary in the first movie, which ironically is the most kid friendly of the movies.

Voldemort pretty much became a joke in the movies 5-7. I laughed in some of his "menacing" scenes.

I agree with everything you have said. I liked him the most in the first movie, and I also found him to be have been unintentionally funny in later movies.

You know what's in common between Skyfall and Harry Potter movies? Ralph Fiennes.
This made the discussion more amusing.

I like the first three of Craig's Bond movies a lot, even Quantum of Solace (the lesser of the three, but still very enjoyable). The fourth, the name of which mercifully escapes my memory right now, is so, so bad -though I doubt that's an Unpopular Opinion.

Casino Royale is the best Craig's Bond film. Better than Skyfall.

Easily. CR is my favourite Bond movie, and the only one of Craig's tenure I've enjoyed. Haven't seen the last one yet, though.

I think the Constantine movie is decent and a hell of a lot better than what DC is doing right now with their live action movies.

"Ciao Mickey Mouse"

Also Narcissa, mother Malfoy.
I did not see the movie that shows her.

Yea I agree. It's actually a pretty good movie, cbm or not. Peter Storemare's Lucifer is one of the best portrayals in a film... and he's only on screen for like 3 minutes.

I haven't seen Moonlight yet but I thought La La Land was pretty average too. Silence should have won everything lol.

People crack on Constantine because it was Keanu and now suddenly because he's become such a big deal in the DC universe they want more accuracy. I had no idea who the **** Constantine was before that movie, and didn't really know him until years later. Now he's all over the goddamn place.

Tom Cruise peaked in the '80s. That's not to say he hasn't made a good movie since then but with the notable exception of Les Grossman in Tropic Thunder, I see no difference in his performances in Mission Impossible, War of the Worlds, Edge of Tomorrow, etc.

There is difference in his grunts.

^^^The last samurai is great

I agree with Drizzle, but if there's an exception -which I believe there is- it's definitely The Last Samurai. That film is excellent from Cruise's performance on up.
