Shutter Island and Cape Fear seem to be some of my top favorites of Scorsese, while Raging Bull an Tazu Driver, which may be some of his best, I don't love as much. Goodfellas however I ****ing love. The narration to Goodfellas and Apocalypse Now have the best narration in a film ever.

His new stuff is also just as good as his old stuff. I loved The Aviator and The Departed could be my favorite Scorsese film.

I agree. Also, Goodfellas is impeccable. Certainly my favorite from him.

I would like to add the "A Clockwork Orange" and "Barry Lyndon" Narrations to that illustrious duo. and probably a few others that escape my mind right now.

I love his stand up but the movies have been terrible . I don't get why there is so much hate for him though.

My favorite Scorsese film is probably The Departed. Goodfellas a close second.

Here's how I would currently rank my top fav Scorsese films.

    1. Taxi Driver
    2. Goodfellas
    3. The Departed
    4. Raging Bull
    5. Mean Streets

I have not watched Raging Bull and Goodfellas. My ignorance is an insult to film. I'm starting to set aside a Scorsese fund to buy all his films on Blu-ray

    Some more unpopular opinions.

-I don't like Glee, just not my cup of tea
-I really find Eva Green (Casino Royale) very attractive
-I liked Todd Philip's Due Date more than The Hangover
-I think Tracy Morgan is hilarious, funnier than the rest of 30 Rock's cast
-Cop Out was a funny film, not bad as the reviews made it out to be
-I think Batman Returns was the best Batman film along with B'89

I agree, but I was just more or less responding to the post of the guy who said that we need more superhero movies like Green hornet.

_ I'm not super excited about any upcoming superhero films. TDKR is probably the only one that I really want to see, but the absence of the Joker kinda curbed my enthusiasm a bit.
_ At this point, Raimi casting Depp in Oz is about as uninspired and boring as someone casting Liev Schreiber as the villain in his movie. (Or casting Depp in any "quirky role" for that matter.)
_ Vincent Cassell was not very believable as a "Maitre de Ballet" in Black Swan.
_ I'm not sure I want Aronovski near the Batman Franchise once Nolan is done.

    4. King of Comedy
    3. Goodfellas
    2. Taxi Driver
    1. The Aviator

TDK is my favorite, but BR is a close second. I mean close second by "as close as you can possibly get" second.

I don't think either of these two are unpopular. Glee goes both ways. And Eva Green is very attractive.

To be honest, I wasn't that big on Raging Bull either, but I acknowledge is one of the three top tier Scorsese films.

Rocky > Raging Bull for best boxing film ever.

I just dont like how he ends up screaming and flailing around and the different voices he makes and generally his whole style of stand up

    His movies are aweful too

Unpopular opinion: Of all the Scorsese films mentioned, out of the ones I've seen, I only really liked Goodfellas and Cape Fear.
